Size: 0.5 oz (15 ml)

YBF Correct eye cream is an upgraded formula that is excellent at lifting and firming the lids and eye area. Correct also smooths crepey wrinkles and fades dark under eye circles.

Directions:
Use a lentil-sized amount (a little goes a long way) for each eye. Apply in a circular motion, under the eye towards the inner corner and on the lid and upper eye area. Suitable for all skin types.

TIA Review by Marta:
If I had to take only one thing to my desert island, Correct was it. The new formula is even better. It is improved in texture and performance and, surprisingly, new Correct isn't just better than old Correct, it does different things. Like lift the eye lids to an extent that is quite astonishing.

After a couple of weeks of using the new Correct, I noticed that my eye lids were more visible. They were notably lifted, firmer and not at all puffy. Correct has always done a good job at smoothing out crepey wrinkles and the new version continues the cause, but also does a much better job of firming. If old Correct was really good, new Correct is excellent.

There have been significant changes to the formula. New Correct is light yellow and has a thicker, more massageable texture. No babies have been thrown out with the bathwater. The distinct almond smell is an immediate indication that spin trap, a busy molecule that captures free radicals, is still a key active. As is that other YBF favorite, Lipochroman-6, plus Matrixyl 3000 and Renovage. However, there is much that is new and interesting.

Syn-Hycan may be responsible for the lifting effect as it was designed to tackle sagging skin. YBF also introduced it to the recently reformulated Control facial serum. It stimulates hyaluronan (HA) synthesis and expression of the proteoglycans, decorin and lumican.

Tego Pep 4-7 is made by a German company called Evonik and is based on the peptide tetrapeptide-17, which is supposed to have collagen, hyaluronic acid and fibronectin boosting activity. Then there's perfuorodecalin, used to dissolve and deliver oxygen to the skin. Pentavitin is a moisturizing agent that has a long-lasting effect because it binds to the lysine in the keratin of the stratum corneum and can't be washed off easily. Correct also has homeostatine (you will also find it in YBF's Boost). It aims to maintain homeostasis in the extra-cellular matrix, which balances the synthesis and degradation of the matrix, keeping the skin moisturized, firm, elastic

Last but not least, paraben du, the old preservative complex, has been ditched and the new Correct has the safe and effective Leucidal, made from fermented radish root.

Special instructions:
Correct uses an airless pump, technology is that is relatively new and not perfected. Sometimes the pump fails to eject the product, but there are a couple of solutions that usually work. First, try tapping the base of the bottle firmly on a hard surface. Secondly, unbend a paperclip and insert into the tiny hole in the base of the pump.

Used this twice daily until the bottle was empty and saw no difference, whatsoever.

In the daytime, I use it over my SkinCeuticals CE plus Ferulic and then would apply sunscreen.

At night would apply over my skII pitera concentrate.

I'm 38 with medium olive skin and some mild sun mild wrinkling around my eyes. I was so let down by this product given all the great reviews. I can honestly say I have NO idea as to what the hype is about.

I'm still on the hunt for an amazing eye cream that helps with under eye crinkles. Argh!

Re Joyce's review: I take tops off of almost everything! It's amazing how much is left in these containers when the pump stops working, also tubes of conditioner are cut in half and contain at least a weeks supply!

Although I have tested many other eye creams, I always go back to Correct as it has reliably and consistently solved all of my under-eye problems. In my view, YBF’s Correct is the best eye cream on the planet – which is why I was more than a little alarmed to find out that my beloved eye cream was being reformulated. I’ve had some poor experiences in the past with reformulated products. The new version of Correct excludes certain ingredients like idebenone and snap-8. However, he added in ingredients like pentavitin, an excellent emollient that’s 100% safe according to the EWG (how rare is that?). Thus the improved version of Correct largely excludes potential skin irritants and is much more hydrating – all due to feedback he had received from the TIA community. Co-enzyme Q10 replaces idebenone, which is a bit notorious for causing contact dermatitis. There is also alpha bisbolol, a derivative of M. chamomilla (German chamomile), which accelerates the healing process of skin and protects the skin from the effects of daily stress. Lastly, YBF Correct is now paraben-free as it uses leucidal, a natural preservative based on radish root.

I’m delighted to report that the new Correct is indeed superior to the old formulation (who knew it was possible?).

  • I'm really sad to say that neither the old Correct nor the new one has done a thing for me -- and besides the smell (which is delicious), I would have to say that actually affirmatively dislike this product. With all the great reviews, I almost feel guilty for saying that! I was excited to try the reformulated product after having disappointing results the first time around, but to no avail. The formula is not moisturizing enough -- which I could definitely forgive if I saw noticeable improvement in my crows feet and fine lines...but I didn't. I'm off to try AQ and perhaps revert back to Reluma (which I've had mixed results from...but haven't given up on). I would even recommend YBF Nourish over this -- for both results (which doesn't seem to make sense) and the price tag :)

The first time I applied the eye cream, I looked in the mirror about 20 to 30 minutes later and was surprised to see that my eyes already looked noticeably lifted – but my internal skeptic said it was wishful thinking. Then, over the next week, I caught myself in a mirror several times (not intentionally gazing to see how I looked or examining to see if the product had made any difference) and thought, “Wow, my eyes look really lifted – and younger!” And then I remembered the Correct. That, to me, was real proof that this product had a definite effect on how lifted, taut and more youthful my eyes looked.

Then after about 30 to 40 days of use I noticed – again, unintentionally – that I was using less concealer under my eyes. And, for the first time in many, many years, my eye circles were almost nonexistent with a fully made-up face. I was kind of shocked!

I haven’t seen a difference in my crow’s feet, but they are, thankfully, still fairly fine. Perhaps with continued use, they’ll stay that way. I am convinced that it really, really does work!

I was lucky enough to get to try the new formulation of my already favorite eye cream YBF Correct. I’ve been using it for about a month, morning and night. And I love it. But I loved it before. So what is different? Well, it is subtle, but now I actually feel it doing the tightening my 60-year-old eyes need… I actually feel it going to work in a way the old formula didn’t manifest. It’s not a radical thing, but when I look in the mirror after a few minutes, I have none of the puffy-bag deal going that usually greets me in the morning if I don’t use the cream. I did switch back to the old formula a couple of times to see if I was imagining it… but it was palpable, the “lift,” and visible. What’s not to like about that? So I can report that, for me, anyway, the new Correct is an even better version of the old.

Didn’t believe it was possible to improve Correct but I’m 3/4 way thru my bottle of the new formulation and it’s magnificent! Better than the old formula at reducing bags!! I’ve tried more eye creams than I care to count and Correct is the very best of all of them!!

  • 5 stars 3 out of 5

I was thrilled to be able to try the newly formulated Correct because my eyes reacted poorly to an ingredient in the old YBF Correct formula (Idebenone is now removed). My 60-year-old eyes needed some serious help to improve the elasticity and crepey skin situation.

Very impressed with the ingredients in this cream, I began using Correct on my upper and lower lids twice a day for four weeks. It left a matte appearance, but to the touch, the skin was very moist and I found this moisturization lasted throughout the day.

Sadly for me at the end of four weeks, there was no visible improvement to my under-eye elasticity or reduction in the crepey-ness. It’s possible that my eyes might need a much longer period of time with Correct in order to see some positive change. From reading results of other users, it appears that some have been fortunate to realize significant improvement, and sooner.

Hi Satajnuic, you don't need a moisturizer with the YBF as it is rich and hydrating. You can certainly use AQ at night and YBF in the morning (or vice versa)

Hi Marta - a bottle of the revamped YBF Correct is winging its way to me and I'm wondering whether/how it will work with the AQ Skin Solutions Eye Serum that I've been using for the past few weeks. Should I use them together? (Expensive eyes huh!) Or am I just doubling up and should therefore hold off using it until the AQ is empty? And do you need an eye moisturiser after use or is the new formula rich enough for older eyes on its own?

I've used so many eye creams and was skeptical when using this one.
This is by far the best eye cream I have ever used. It's the only one that really showed a difference in terms of wrinkles under the eyes.
What was even more amazing is the fact it showed after the first day of using.

    Hi Pam
Your bottle of Correct is not empty. It uses an airless pump and the technology is relatively new and not perfected. Sometimes the pump does not work correctly, but there are a couple of solutions that usually work. First, try tapping the base of the bottle firmly on a hard surface. Secondly, unbend a paperclip and insert into the tiny hole in the base of the pump.

Bought this with eager anticipation, but after using a very small amount ONCE, the bottle would release no more product! That was it...one use and empty!

Meryl Streep is in a movie: It’s Complicated where she visits a cosmetic surgeon asking what can be done about her sagging lids. I leaned over to my best friend during this and whispered, “Correct has prevented anything resembling this from happening to me!”

I won a free sample of this a while back and let me tell you it works. Once again Marta is right on point. Fantastic product!

I developed crepey lids about a year ago and I was devastated, because my eyeshadow (that I love to play around with) looked terrible! Correct has eradicated the crepey eye lids (in conjunction with Sen Zen Double Dose) and I am happy to use eyeshadow again. Yay!! Also, using it only on my lids, the bottle lasts a good while.

ybf Correct is “the one” that I haven’t been without for over 2 years. It’s definitely made the transition from 50s to 60s so much more graceful.

  • I have applied YBF Correct faithfully twice a day for a month now under my eyes as well as above them. The pale yellow gel-like lotion absorbs very quickly, making it easy to follow with makeup immediately. The texture of my skin after is slightly tacky but only for a few minutes. I would have preferred a more moisturized feeling for a longer period of time, especially now that it’s cold. I had no irritation whatsoever. YBF Correct also played well with my other products. Correct has a long and impressive list of ingredients. I don’t know enough to go into detail, but from the past few months of reading Truth In Aging, I recognize many as heavy hitters (Matrixyl 3000, idebenone, alpha lipoic acid) along with a number of natural substances, including licorice root extract listed close to the top.

Sounds great, but I can't get past that it has parabens!!

  • 5 stars 4 out of 5

After reading all the positive reviews about YBF Correct, I decided to purchase one. After only two weeks, I can say its a fantastic product and worth every penny.

  • 5 stars 5 out of 5

I can also attest to the wonders of Correct. THE best eye cream for dark circles, hands down. Nothing else even comes close, and I’ve tried so many others that were a complete waste of money. Not so with Correct! If you have dark circles, run, don’t walk, to get this cream!

Marta, Correct comes correct…I’ve told you a million times over how much I adore this

  • 5 stars 5 out of 5

YBF’s Correct is the BEST eye cream on the market, hands down. Period.

So very disappointed in this eye cream. Had never heard of the product until I found the TIA site, Marta’s recommendation, and a slew of positive comments. Bought this pricey cream, used it for a week and could practically see the fine lines forming day by day. Was not moisturizing. My eyes felt dry and scratchy and makeup under my eyes looked cakey. Stopped after a week because I didn’t want to cause damage that might not be reversible. Waste of money for me.

*BEST eye cream I’ve ever tried! (And that’s saying a lot because I’ve tried everything!)
If you have dark circles, you will LOVE this eye cream. It works miracles. It is expensive and I live in Canada so got dinged twice with shipping charges, and another $30 in duty tax. But in my opinion, it’s well worth it. Marta recommended this and I took a leap of faith with the considerable price tag but I’m very happy. As she says, it works wonders on fine lines and crow’s feet and really firms.

I received a sample of eye cream in a small disc like container and saw a goldish dab of cream. It is lovely and has a comforting feeling and I thought it did show a nice smoothing effect with just a few applications.
It felt very natural to me and was gentle.

I have to tell you a little story about my 60-something mom and Correct. She was in town visiting me recently and was bemoaning the bags under her eyes. Being a good daughter, I offered her a sample of Correct I was saving — but only if she promised to really use it. Two days later, her bags and circles were almost gone! We were rather shocked at the dramatic change, but her eyes just kept getting better over the week! She was so excited that we jumped onto the TIA site and ordered her a full-sized Correct. I’m so happy she finally found something that really works for her

Correct has been very effective for me and I heartily recommend it to friends.

  • 5 stars 5 out of 5

Correct saved my eyes and without it as the cornerstone of all else I use, I’m certain they would decline. If I could I would have a shelf devoted to YBF.

I've been using Correct off and on since TIA wrote it up a few years ago--and there's probably no single product that is mentioned as often (and as enthusiastically) on the site. It is absolutely unbeatable especially for dark circles and for overall improvement of the eye area--just the best.

  • I have used Correct for a bout a year now and am satisfied enough to keep using it. I also find it has banished my dark circles but the main reason I use it is that a year ago I noticed by upper lids were starting to sag, producing one very noticeable extra fold over my left eye. After maybe four months of Correct, the wrinkle disappeared--I presume because the skin firmed up.

In truth, the changes are very small and possibly not all that noticable--except for that wrinkle, but I continue to justify the expense. A typical tube lasts about 4 months for me.

Age 61 Moderate face wrinkles, Normal skin
I've been useing YBF Correct for 2 months now. There is a definite improvement on the dark circles under my eyes and puffiness. Nothing before has worked on my dark circles. I am on my second bottle because of that success. I have not noticed any change in the tightening above the eyes and would not recommend it for that. The deeper crows feet are not as apparent now but no 'miracle cure' in the wrinkle department. When my first bottle ran out I pulled off the top/lid and there was at least 2 more weeks use left in it.(Twice a day) At the cost you should make sure you can use every last drop!
