    Hi Kimberly
Hair Vitality Complex is made by Truth In Aging and I conceived the formula. Personally, I find it gives better results than other products. But if you are getting results from ReLuma my advice would be to stick with it.

    Hi Marta,

I have tried reluma Stem Cell Hair Complex for Women. I noticed hair growth. Now I discovered HVC on your website as well. One question, since you sell these two products, what would you advise me to use? HVC or reluma stem cell Hair Complex? Which one you found best work?

    Thanks
    Kimberly

Hair vitality was sent as a 'freebie' when I ordered another product and was I glad it was! I tried it in the same place as Marta on her video as I had the same problem and wow! Within 2 weeks hair was regrowing and is now two inches long. This is a real find but unfortunately living in England really sends the price up as we have to pay import duty plus post office charges too. So until Marta finds a distributor over here we are a little helpless and so jealous of this amazing site. Regards Diane

Sue, I am so sorry to hear this. We have sold hundreds of HVC and have never heard of a reaction such as yours, either the rash or discoloration. And as you can see from the many reviews (here and on the articles), results and experiences are largely extremely positive. Please contact customerservice@truthinaging.com and we will arrange for you to be refunded.

Please be sure to include your order number - since we cannot see anyone in our database named Sue or Susan who recently bought HVC.

I generally don't write reviews but I had such a bad reaction to this product, I wanted to warn others. I just received the product yesterday and was excited to try it out. I washed my hair and applied a pea size amount to my hair line as directed in Marta's video. I woke up this morning and have a terrible rash that extends from the hairline down about an inch onto my forehead. This is not just red-- it is bleeding. My hair also turned orange at the hairline. At first I thought it was blood but then realized it was the copper color so I guess that is a reaction from the peptides? (I have blonde chemically treated hair)

I'm giving this 5 Stars because it worked for me.

I've had a high forehead my whole life. At 42, it really started to bother me. Perhaps it seemed to be getting higher, I'm not really sure. Anyhow, I was skeptical of Hair Vitality Complex, but thought, I really didn't have anything to lose (other than a few $). So I tried it and I have to admit it worked for me. However, it didn't happen over night and it took several weeks.
The directions say to use it after washing your hair, but often I would put it on my scalp at night and then shower in the morning. Sometimes I would use it post-shower.

I've seen some funny comments on this website, like "it dried out my hair". I think these people don't understand that it needs to go directly on the scalp where you think your hair issue is. Putting HVC on your hair is not going to help - you've got to get it on your scalp.

I've actually got a question for the community. So this product worked for me. I have a few friends/aunts that could likely use a little help in the hair growth department too. How would I /could I approach them? Or is this totally taboo? The last thing in the world I would want to do is embarrass them. But shouldn't I say something if in fact it worked for me? Maybe it would help them too?

    Appreciate any comments / advice.
    Thanks

    Hi Steve,

Copper peptides seem to work on the follicle in two ways: increasing follicle cell proliferation; and copper also decreases programmed follicle cell death, which results in smaller follicles. So I don't think your hypothesis would come about.

Hi Marta! Really impressed with site, and the logic and research you put in! I'm in england and thinking of giving this ago all over my scalp.

I'm 30 years old, always had very dense thick hair, but the last few years have seen some major tragedies, and been extremely stressful. Iv always shed a fair bit, but I think it increased in the last 3years or so.
Anyway! My barber, my friends and my doctor said I don't have mpb. And hair genes in my family seem good on both sides, but I have noticed that I have less hair on my head all over in general (no vellus hair) so maybe dht isn't my problem??

My main question about this product is that if the copper peptides are getting growth by kicking resting follicals into the anegen phase early, would that not mean that all hairs would be in the anegen phase at once, meaning at the end of that phase (4years or whatever) they would all shed at once?? Or does it not work that way?
I hope you have time to read this! Sorry for the long post
And thanks again for the site!

After a week of using the product, I noticed baby hair growth around my hair line and some of my fuzzy hair looked visibly stronger. I only had enough product for a couple of weeks and I am absolutely sure that I would see more positive results with the continued use of this serum. I highly recommend it for everyone at any age, but especially for women who experience hair loss due to hormonal changes. It might take a few weeks to see real results and you probably should use the product on a regular basis. But you won’t feel guilty spending too much on your hair – it’s very affordable!

    Hi Doreen,

Thanks for your excellent questions! We have spoken to the manufacturer, who informs us that zinc consumed in moderation should pose no problems that would impact hair growth. Additionally, zinc consumed should pose no interactions with topical products containing copper or copper peptides. Also, the copper peptides are not absorbed into the bloodstream and so there should be no interaction internally that would raise or lower copper levels in the body. Hope this helps!

    Dear Marta,

I continue to use the HVC. It has been a little over 4 months, and I am noticing regrowth. I started taking Pumpkin Seed Oil capsules (said to be good for hair growth) but in my research I read that this oil contains Zinc (I'm not sure how much). Would getting higher levels of Zinc from the oil internally compete with the copper peptides applied externally? Apparently on Dr. Pickart's website he advised not to take Zinc as it may "drive the copper out" and I wouldn't want to take anything that would interrupt the HVC. Also, by the way, does applying copper topically increase levels of copper internally? Sorry for these crazy questions! I figured you would be the one with the answers.

    Thank you in advance :)

Between my husband, John, and I, we’d tried quite a few hair loss remedies, starting with natural oils like coconut and emu, and then moving on to hair loss regimens like Nexxus and Osmotics FNS. None of them offered lasting results, if any at all. John was about to go the Rogaine route (which I am vehemently against) when we received the Hair Vitality Complex.

I immediately tore open the box and pumped out a tiny dollop of the product onto my fingertips… and fell in love. With its beautiful blue-green color and lightweight gel consistency, and without a discernible scent of any kind, the Hair Vitality Complex offered a completely different application than any of the other hair loss remedies I’d tried. I literally wanted to smear this stuff all over my whole face.

Over the next four weeks, John and I used a tiny pea-sized amount after every shampooing. I applied it to both temples and to my hairline, and was careful to use any leftover product on my brows, which had pretty much stopped growing in after an unfortunate period of me thinking I looked great with pencil-thin brows.

The results were pleasantly surprising! I noticed the biggest change in my eyebrows – they are finally growing back in, and not in sparse patches, but all over. As for my hair, I noticed a slight thickening in the right temple and hairline, and can see tiny little hairs filling in, offering a denser overall appearance to those areas. John showed some good results as well! We noticed the biggest difference in his crown, which definitely filled in quite a bit. Where we used to able to see a large circle of scalp is now about 30% improved!

    Hi Doreen
The Nutra-Lift vitamin C is listed as "vitamin C ester" which are generally oil soluble Cs (such as tetradecyl ascorbate and ascorbyl palmitate) so there should not be a problem using the Nutra-Lift shampoo followed by HVC.

As for use with other products containing traditional water-soluble Cs, it is better not to combine use of those products (they could perhaps be used consecutively but just not AT the same time). Potential interaction problems with products containing ascorbic acid could include the copper peptides rendering the C inert by speeding oxidation...or the acidity of the vitamin C increasing sensitivity of an individual to the copper peptide in HVC.

I have been using this product for about three months and I think I need to use it a little longer before I comment on regrowth.

I did notice in the first 5-8 weeks of using this product, an increase in shedding, which worried me. But I stuck with it and the shedding has calmed down greatly, especially after adding the Nutra-Lift shampoo.

The HVC is not at all greasy and does not interfere with my hair style when blowdrying. I did notice is has a slight drying effect to my scalp, but it does not stop me from using the product.

I do like the Nutra-Lift shampoo, but I noticed it is part of a package deal on here along with the Hair Vitality Complex. Since the shampoo contains Vitamin C, it shouldn't be used right along with the HVC serum because reacts with the copper peptides. I am grateful to Marta for introducing me to these products but I think it would be nice if there was a special note in the descriptions for both of these products at all locations on this website specifying how to use these products together so that they don't negate each other, and maybe even some extra information (like how long Vitamin C stays active on the scalp after using the shampoo, should you shampoo again at night with a different shampoo before applying the HVC after using Nutra-Lift in the morning, how exactly do these products react with each other and will it have a negative effect on the hair?)

Because I don't know exactly how long the Vit. C stays on the scalp I have been alternating when I use it.

Within about three weeks of using a sample of Hair Vitality Complex I noticed I had less shedding, no hair in the shower and far less on my hairbrush. I was actually beginning to panic when my supply was running out and was very relieved when my new full sized product arrived. I only use two pumps and massage it into my entire scalp and my hair seems much more thick and healthy. I can't speak for seeing new growth as my hair is very fine, but not thinning.

HI, I asked a question about Hair Vitality before and have another. My hair is thinning all over but I have serious bouts of serious shedding that happen periodically . I have no reason why. I still do have have a lot of hair even though it has thinned all over due to Menopause but when I go through a shed I think I lose about 1/3 of the hair on my head. It is scary. My mother is in her 80's and very thin hair now. You can see her scalp. Obviously there is something genetic going on. She did not get really thin until the last 10 years or so. Do you think I should be looking at a DHT blocker instead?

    thanks.

I have quite thin hair, and now, when I'm almost 46 years old my hair is thinning all the time. I can tell you that now after about 1.5 months use there is new hair growing in hairline! Yippee!

I used it for over two weeks before I noticed any results, but little by little on the thinnest parts on the sides of my temples where the balding was the greatest short, and as Marta stated, “real” hairs have begun to grown. I now have a layer of short fringe under my bangs from side to side. My bangs look fuller even though this fringe isn’t to the length of my bangs yet. Hair Vitality Complex works for me! My hair is thickening, and I’m a happy aging hippie

Althouth my hair stopped falling out, I did not notice any changes in the thickness of my hair. Of course I am older, and that might have something to do with it. Overall, I think this product is just ok!, not any better than Nioxin or the other products out there.

My hair looks better...and thicker. It is still too early to tell if the product is actually regrowing my hair, but there is definitely less hair falling out!...less on my comb and less hair loss when I shampoo. As a matter of fact, 2 women at the office noticed an improvement in my hair and commented that it looked thicker. I don't have to tell you how that made my day! So far...I am extremely pleased with this product
