I found the Mad Hippie Eye Cream to generally be a good face lotion. While it is sold as an eye cream, there is no reason not to use it all over your face if you have dry to normal skin. I was pleased with the price, packaging and ingredients of this product. It retails for $24.99 on Mad Hippie’s website with a 100% money-back guarantee, and comes in an airtight pump that is opaque so that no light can reduce the effectiveness of the ingredients.
Besides water, the first five ingredients in Mad Hippie Eye Cream are as follows: Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B that is great for the skin and fights against UV damage. Regu-Age (an active that consists of hydrolyzed rice bran protein, soybean protein and oxido reductases) has been shown to reduce dark circles, puffiness and UV damage. Eyeliss helps with puffy eyes that are caused by fluid build-up, poor drainage, fragile capillaries and loss of elasticity. Haloxyl is a synthetic ingredient formulated to reduce dark circles under the eyes. Matrixyl 3000 has been shown to reduce wrinkles. Most of the remaining ingredients in this eye cream are made up of beneficial vitamins and extracts. The natural essential oils include basil, bergamot, rosemary, cedarwood, cinnamon bark, geranium and guaiacwood. People who are sensitive to fragrances may have issues with the scent; however, I did not (and I am typically very sensitive to fragrances).
I consistently used the Mad Hippie Eye cream only on my left eye until the entire bottle was gone - about six months. While I have not seen any difference between the left eye and my right eye, this could be because my under-eye issues are mostly genetic. This cream claims to fix only environmentally induced under-eye puffiness or dark circles (i.e. sun, smoking, stress).
I would consider buying it again and using it as a general moisturizer. Not only does this cream have a decent price, proper packaging and ideal ingredients, it’s also owned by a smaller, more personable cosmetics company.

I found it to be slightly dry to use on its own; layering with a moisturizing eye cream works well. I have used this cream for 4 months, and while it had no effects on the "crows", it made a difference with "circles" and tightening the upper lid.

These guys are based out of Austin, where I live. I love all of their products. I have for the last several months used a combination of this with their vitamin C serum and have had great results. They have both helped a lot with discoloration and tightening.
I am in my early 30's and am just starting to get some slight wrinkles, and I believe the eye cream and serum have definitely helped with these. For me the eye cream is plenty moisturizing as I live in a fairly warm climate (okay...Austin is down right HOT much of the year).
Overall, great products with safe and solid ingredients!
