    Teeth whitening lozenges from Nuvorawhite

I have never met a tooth whitening tray that I’ve liked. Bleaching strips slip. While Go Smile requires patient rubbing. Unable to use Watt’s whitening kit without getting lung fulls of bleach and unable to buy Target’s no-slip wraps online, I was excited to find that an oral health company called Nuvora has launched teeth whitening lozenges called Nuvorawhite. Now all I have to do is suck my stains away.

The lozenges, which dissolve in the mouth in an hour, are supposed to whiten the teeth, kill bacteria and freshen the breath. The active whitening ingredient is carbamide peroxide, with essential oils, xylitol to kill bacteria, and zinc to freshen the breath. Nuvora claims that they are all in amounts suitable for release over time.

Although the lozenges are not supposed to create sensitivity (as strips can), the main selling point is the simplicity of  use. Place in the mouth, move occasionally over the front of teeth, twice a day for up to 18 days – or for occasional touch ups.

In a pilot study, Nuvorawhite achieved an average of 7.8 shades improvement in 12 days – about the same as existing home-whitening products.

I have an 18-day supply ($59.99) on its way and I’ll let you know if I achieve hassle free at-home teeth cleaning. Nuvora.com.

Sounds interesting and easy, but expensive. I had no results with Go Smile-money down the drain.
I found something effective, fast, easy and CHEAP!
Plus White 5 Minute Speed Whitening Gel.
My teeth are pretty white to begin with but I always notice a difference when I use this stuff. I just smear it on with my finger, hold my lips away from my teeth with my fingers for a minute (it sort of forms a skin on it that holds the gel to your teeth so the insides of your lips won’t disturb it) and go about my business. It says 5 minutes or up to 20 and you can use it with trays if you have them.
Then just brush it away with your toothbrush and that’s it. Whiter, brighter teeth! AND…only $2.99 for a big 3 ounce tube at my local grocery store!! (I think it was on sale..I’ve seen it at CVS for $4.99..still, pretty cheap for excellent results!!) This will last a LONG time.

Ingredients:Water, Poloxamer 407, Glycerin, Hydrogen Peroxide, Methyl Salicylate, Sodium Saccharin, phosphoric Acid.

Cristina, that’s a great tip and I’ll check it out. Nuvorawhite arrived yesterday and I’ve started to try it out. I’ll let you know whether it’s worth the cost – which I agree is high.

Christina, Does this gel make your teeth ache? I have super sensitive teeth so need to know if either of these helps cause sensitivity. I used Crest white strips and my teeth ached for a week.
