La Vie Celeste Finishing Powder is made from pure crushed minerals and botanical extracts. Oil free, it actually helps balance skin by reducing oily breakthrough, without drying. It may be used over foundation or on its own for a super sheer look. Suitable for all skin types. Available in 3 shades:
Ecru: Perfect for those with beige or golden ivory undertones
Tawny: Ideal for tan Caucasian skin
Cappuccino: A great shade for Hispanic or light women of color. Also works great as a bronzer for Caucasian skin.
Directions:
Turn sifter to desired position and tap a small amount of powder into the cap. Swirl brush inside cap until powder has fully adhered to brush. Tap brush along outer ridge of cap to eliminate any excess. Start by "stamping" powder on the outer edges of face and then sweep inwards towards cheeks, nose and chin area. Works well with La Vie Celeste Creme Foundation.

La Vie Celeste Finishing Powder is exactly what it sounds like- a product meant to finish off the face. It can be used over foundation or concealer to set the makeup and improve staying power. Personally, I use it by itself to provide super sheer coverage. I love wearing it alone; the powder has a silky texture comparable to baby powder. It not only feels nice, but there are no worries on my end about blending or looking cakey. It also claims to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles-something I cannot comment on due to lack of experience- but I can say that a product that blends so effortlessly would doubtfully settle into lines.
Probably my favorite thing about this product is the packaging. It comes in a jar with a sifter to control the amount of product you get on your brush, and this sifter has a re-sealable cap, so absolutely no product gets wasted and a cloud of loose powder does not suffocate you when you open the top.
When looking at the ingredient list, I can see that La Vie Celeste has taken inspiration from its skincare line when formulating this powder. It contains green tea, olive leaf extract, and pearl powder- all staples in LVC skincare- as well as rice powder and silk powder to combat shine. It is also oil free and safe for use on all skin types, including sensitive.
