TIA Review by Nisha:
Living Nature's Ultra Nourishing Mask is an intensive mask teeming with so many skin beneficial ingredients it' s almost hard to believe that so much good stuff can be packed into just one mask. The mask is designed to restore dry or damaged skin with active manuka honey, derived from a shrub native to New Zealand, which, as Jimmy pointed out, is a national treasure.
Moreover, the mask contains a favorite of mine, pequi fruit oil, a carotenoid-rich oil efficient in reducing tissue injuries and DNA damage. There is also rosehip, which in alternative medicine is known to erase wrinkles, fade sun spots, and heal wounds. The mask also has olive, jojoba and avocado oil, shea butter and cocoa butter to counter moisture loss and deeply nourish skin, repairing dryness. As if that weren't enough to alleviate dehydrated skin, the rich formula contains glycerin and vegetable squalane, which leaves skin incredibly baby soft. The mask is ideally suited for dry and mature skin, but I found that I am able to use it during the humid nights of late spring and my skin easily drinks it up. This ultra-nourishing mask is perfect to soothe and calm irritated, red, itchy skin any time of year.
The mask smells delicious; the manuka aroma reminds me of marzipan, which only made me crave the sugary, ground almond candy. The mask even resembles the base of marzipan, a soft creamy color and consistency that sinks right in. The formula sinks in so quickly (and dries to a matte finish) that I decided to massage on another thin layer for good measure.
Despite the extremely rich ingredients in the mask, it was easy to wash off with cool water, with no sticky film left on my face and neck - just baby soft, glowing skin. Some may not need to rinse this off and can simply smooth it into parched skin. This is really good stuff, and I've used this mask up to three times a week. Not only is this a yummy mask, it's a much-needed healthy drink for my skin.
