This is the best body scrub ever. It makes my skin feel so fabulously soft and nourished that I don't need to use a body lotion afterwards. It almost is a moisturizer, just one that you put on in the shower.
The real star of the show is cupuacu butter, a fragrant fruit related to coffee (but smelling more like pineapple) and full of antioxidant flavonoids. This is a signature ingredient of Me & The Girls. As a butter, it is very hydrating. As is tamanu oil. Typically, tamanu oil is obtained from the seed of this tropical tree and contains benzoic acids, fatty acids, small amounts of vitamin F and much more.
I am almost addicted to this scrub and wish it came in a 16oz tub. Multitaskers are always welcome in my busy life and in summer, when I know my body lotion is going to melt almost before I am dressed, the fact that Me & The Girls Sugar Body Scrub means I can skip it is a very welcome bonus.
The 'me' of Me & The Girls is founder Sharon Hickey, a critical care registered nurse. The girls are all women that her company helps by giving 10% of profits to organizations that help and empower women, such as Women For Women International and the White Ribbon Alliance. This is the best body scrub I have ever used. I use it weekly, scrub for 10 minutes, leave it on my skin while I cleanse my face and then rinse it off. My skin feels like silk for days! It is so moisturised and glowing that I often don't even need to follow up with a moisturiser, simply amazing! The dessert smell just tops off this wonderful product, I will definitely be purchasing this again.
