Size: 1.0 oz (30 ml)
This non-greasy, antioxidant-rich serum is as light as air and melts into the skin. Designed to penetrate and regenerate the deeper dermal layers, it's a light alternative moisturiser that leaves the skin feeling velvety smooth and fresh. Great when used as a light base for makeup.
Directions:
Use after cleansing and toning. Apply a small amount and pat gently onto the face and around the eyes. Allow to absorb.
TIA Review by Jen:
When I received my bottle of serum and tried it for the first time, I was surprised at how quickly it absorbed into my skin. It actually worried me a bit, as I needed two pumps worth to completely cover my face, neck and decollete, so figured I wouldn't have a full four-week supply. Silly me, as it is now eight weeks later, and I STILL have product remaining! I'm accustomed to serums taking a bit longer to absorb, but have to say that I quickly learned to enjoy the rapid absorption and to appreciate the benefits.
My second concern, which proved to be silly as well, was that this serum is recommended for all skin types EXCEPT dry and sensitive. My skin is usually sensitive, but after reviewing the ingredients list, I couldn't really figure out what the problem ingredients were. Okay, well there IS "grain alcohol," but it's listed halfway down on the list, so how much could there be, right? Vitamin E can also be problematic for some skin, but neither ingredient caused me any problems.
The Mukti Antioxidant Serum contains liposomes, which help move the ingredients deeper into the dermal layers (vs. sitting on top of the skin). It's quite light, absolutely nongreasy and full of antioxidants... again, what's not to like about it?!
The first ingredient on the list is aloe vera leaf juice (a proven anti-inflammatory)... not a drop of "aqua" in sight. The rest of the key ingredients are equally enticing, with kukui nut, borage, hemp seed, carrot seed, rosehip and evening primrose being the main attractions.
My crow's feet are definitely not as deep, and my skin feels and looks healthier. Plus, I have the satisfaction of knowing that nothing harmful has been applied to my skin with the use of this serum.

The Mukti serum is very light, and absorbs into the skin almost immediately. I was pleased that it had no greasy or oily after feel and smelled quite nice too. It made my skin feel very soft and silky the first two days, although other than that, there didn’t seem to be much change.
Alas, Day 3 hit, and I encountered an anticipated problem – I broke out. Itty bitty pimples appeared all over my forehead and just below the skin’s surface on my cheeks. I wasn’t terribly surprised though – my skin tends to be a bit on the oily side and adding too many moisturizing products often make me break out. But all hope was not lost… I remembered the directions – the serum can also be used alone as a lightweight moisturizer. So I decided to ditch my usual moisturizer (which I had been using over the serum and was heavier) and just go with the serum. Within about a week my skin calmed down and returned to normal. I’m finding the Mukti serum to be an ideal lightweight summer moisturizer – it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my face shiny. It plays well under my mineral foundation makeup.
I would love to have someone with more mature and dry skin try this serum to see if it might offer them a greater benefit. In my mind, however, the biggest benefit of this serum – and all of Mukti’s products – is that they are certified fully organic. Any time I can swap a skincare product that has potentially harmful preservatives in it (i.e. parabens or phenoxyethanol) with a natural one that delivers the same results – that’s a win in my book!
