Mukti Pink Grapefruit Body Lotion

Put moisture back in after you wash your skin. A non-greasy moisturizing treatment to hydrate, nourish and protect. Suitable for the whole body.
Scent: Invigorating pink grapefruit.
Directions: Use regularly to hydrate, nourish and soften the skin. For best results pat onto the skin after bathing whilst skin is still damp.

Mukti Organics is so committed to stringent organic standards that the products are truly non-toxic. The formulations can safely be used on babies, and Mukti claims the skincare ingredients are so natural you can even eat them- I chose to take her word for it and not test that claim.
The first ingredient in the lotion is aloe vera juice which, when used topically can soothe skin and serve as an anti-inflammatory. Following that, there is an abundance of oils (macadamia ternifolia, coconut, glycerin), an oil derivative (cetearyl glucoside), and butters (cocoa and shea butyrospermum parkii) that made me wonder if this was indeed a cream and not a lotion. Moreover, there are four citrus essential oils to make up the fruity fragrance I'm so weary of sporting on hot summer days for fear of being eaten alive. I was happy to be proven wrong on both counts.
I applied the lotion right after the shower as recommended and found that despite the heavy-hitting moisturizers, the lotion was not greasy and provided just the right amount of hydration for summer months. A little of the lotion goes a long way and the pump bottle should easily last through the summer season. The citrus fragrance is quite overt when the lotion is first applied; however, it remarkably dissipates within seconds! A friend tried the lotion and was rather disappointed at the disappearing scent, but I found it to be ideal.
Mukti has pulled it off perfectly. The pink grapefruit hand and body lotion is another winner within the Mukti Organics line.

woohoo -- it now has a pump! Perfection! It also did a great job of clearing up two stubborn dry patches. I'm going to have to try their other products...

Aaaaah, at long last: great ingredients, effective for my very dry skin, great feel and light, clean scent. This is a keeper!
I just wish they provided a pump for ease of dispensing -- I bought one to use for it but the "standard-sized" straw is not long enough...

Great for dry skin as it has no alcohol and lots of organic ingredients that do the trick for being gentle enough to apply as often as needed. Clean feel to it too.
