Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Firming Eye Repair is a moisturizing, non-oily eye cream with copper (to help firming and elasticity) and pseudoalteromonas ferment extract (which helps the skin retain moisture and increases the production of collagen and elastin). For firming the eye area.

I will begin my review with the appearance and scent of the product. It is the standard sky blue color we have come to know from the Osmotics Blue Copper line. There is no detectable scent to the product, which is properly described by the company as being a cream-gel. When patted in around the eye area, it absorbs well. A little truly goes a long, long way! Six weeks later, I've barely made a dent in the jar, which makes the $75 price tag fairly economical. This little pot could definitely last six months or longer.
It boasts some great ingredients that I attribute to the positive results I've seen. I should begin with the copper, as this is its namesake. Copper has been shown to help firming and elasticity. The second ingredient, after water, is pseudoalteromonas ferment extract, which helps the skin retain moisture and increase the production of collagen and elastin. Next are a couple of tripeptides combined with proteins, which Osmotics says will promote overall collagen health at every life stage: synthesis, formation and degradation. Marta has written some in-depth posts about the tripeptides used here. The formula also includes the amino acid, Carnosine, which fights free radicals. As well as being an excellent anti-ager, Carnosine is also said to extend the Hayflick Limit. In addition, there's vitamin E, vitamin B-5, and hyaluronic acid. All in all, the Blue Copper 5 Firming Eye Repair contains several beneficial ingredients. But please note there are some emulsifiers and preservatives that might dissuade the purists out there.
As for the results, I've seen a gradual plumping of the lines around my eyes. The product is very moisturizing, but not remotely oily. The skin around my eyes appears firmer and more refreshed.
Overall, I think the product is a good moderately priced eye cream.
