Osmotics Blue Copper 5 7 Night Molecular Repair Treatment

Blue Copper 5 Molecular Repair Treatment is a set of seven ampoules , one for each day. Or night, to be precise. Osmotics recommends night time application and I think that this is due to the cream imparting a slightly chalky look (much as you might get from a mineral sunscreen). With Blue Copper 5 Molecular Repair Treatment you'll "awaken to softer, smoother, hydrated skin with an overall more even tone and texture."
Directions:
For night time use only. After cleansing, cut open ampoule and gently smooth over face and neck. This treatment works best alone but additional moisturizer may be applied over top if needed. Use seven consecutive nights for optimal results.

I recently tested the 7 Night Molecular Repair Treatment by Osmotics Cosmeceuticals and was so impressed with the results that I'm kicking myself for not having used blue copper 5 sooner.
The treatment consists of seven ampoules, which are meant to be used for seven consecutive nights in order to expedite the restorative benefits of blue copper 5 (a 5 chain copper peptide). The Molecular Repair Treatment is ideally meant to be used post aggressive dermal procedures, such as microdermabrasion or peels. However, it's also beneficial if one has been exposed to harsh environmental conditions that trigger skin stressors resulting in irritation, increased sensitivity, dehydration or fatigue.
I was fortunate to have the ampoules at my disposal after coming off a few weeks of somewhat aggressive skin therapy. As luck would have it, only a couple of months before the upcoming holiday season (which includes my birthday), I started experiencing random breakouts. To add to my skin woes, I also experienced more than few external stressors in a rather short time frame. External skin conditions are often a manifestation of what's going on inside the body; thus, the stress, lack of sleep and poor nutrition had wreaked havoc on my skin.
Fortunately, my editor had sent me the powerful Blue Copper 5 ampoules, which immediately helped to restore my skin; within minutes of application, I noted a marked reduction in redness (from skin inflammation; I don't think this will work for broken capillaries). I was genuinely impressed with how quickly this product repaired my skin with a few days. I didn't even need to use it for the full seven nights! Further, each ampoule contains enough serum for at least 2-3 nightly treatments, thus the box will easily last for 2 weeks (I put the open ampoule with unused serum in a zip lock bag to maintain product integrity).
As Marta noted in her review of Molecular Repair Treatment, copper peptides promote the degradation of abnormally large cross-linked collagen (the one found in scars and, to a lesser degree, in wrinkles). They also stimulate the production of "regular" collagen found in normal skin. The ingredient helps to firm, smooth, and softens skin, doing it in less time than most other anti-aging skin care products. It's important to note that I don't think the serum would have been as effective were my skin not already somewhat compromised. In this case, the worse condition your skin is in, the more noticeable the product results will be.
The high concentration of copper peptides (not to mention the cost) renders Molecular Repair Treatment best for cyclical use. I plan to use it for a few days every other month, or before an important event or when traveling.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the effectiveness of Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Molecular Repair Treatment and am thrilled to have found a reliable product for skin emergencies. Along with copper peptides, the serum contains a bevy of skin beneficial ingredients including Matrixyl 3000, hyaluronic acid and the antioxidant carnosine.

When using this product, I kept a good eye on fine lines and firmness, and I must say that nothing seemed to happen. I did conduct a side experiment, which seemed to yield some results though. Every night after applying the cream to my face, I rubbed the excess onto the top of one hand - the same hand every night. At Day 4 and Day 7, I asked my husband which hand was softer and each time, without any hesitation, he picked the hand that had the treatment. When I took a second look at the ingredients, it became clear why... Copper PCA (a known skin conditioner), glyceryl stearate, and Caprylic/Trigliceride (a coconut extract) were all to thank for my softer hand. My conclusion is that although my face (and hand) is softer, seven days is probably not enough time to see any long-lasting anti-aging results, but I do see how it could work to calm stressed skin.

I bought the Blue Copper 5 as I have rosacea (even diagnosed with it in my eyes) as well as sensitive skin. I spoke personally with Osmotics rep Sameera. She assured me it would do wonders. By the fourth day I could not continue as my eyes were burning so badly and one week later they are still quite sore, specifically my bottom lids. Nothing else new was introduced to cause this reaction and I truly believe it was the Blue Copper. Sad, because my face felt wonderful, but at too high a price. My eyes felt chemically burnt. There should be a warning. i did report it to Osmotics. I did not rub it up to or around my crows feet, but it most likely seeped up there through the night. If you have sensitive eyes, beware.

I have battled this redness problem for a very long time and have not found any satisfaction with the products I have used. In fact, I had approximately six IPL treatments seven years ago and was not satisfied with the results. However, I am impressed enough to continue using this regime of Dermaxime (for day use) and Osmotics Blue Copper, followed up by the BQ and that’s quite an endorsement.
I just have to add one more bit of info: I traveled out of town for two weeks during this time and did not bring my BQ, so only used the Osmotics Blue Copper and the Dermaxime and did notice the redness was returning, albeit not to the degree of redness prior to using this regime.
