I would recommend the
Alima Pure Luminous Shimmer Blush. Though I must mention, it is not really shimmery, which was fine with me. Shimmer is good for a nighttime event, but for day I prefer a more subtle look. There does seem to be some depth to the color, and I’d agree to calling it “luminous.” It’s quite pretty really.
When I saw the color “
Freja” on the Alima Pure website, I thought it might be too dark for me, but it actually was not. When I applied the product, I had moisturizer on my face (but no foundation), and the powder easily blended into my skin with a blush brush.
I put it on around 7:00 a.m. and there was still color on my face at around 3:00 p.m., not too bad considering I’m outside a lot during the day and it’s often windy here where I live in Massachusetts. See my before and after photos below.

The blush is color dense, so a little goes a long way – and it is priced right ($1.50 for a sample size jar; $20 for .16 oz/5 g). The product consists of (at most) three ingredients: mica, titanium dioxide and iron oxides - love that! The packaging is simple as well and is recycled and recyclable.
I even took a bit of the powder, mixed it with shea butter and a little coconut oil and made a nice mineral lipstick!
Ingredients: Mica (CI 77019); May contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)

I would love to try Alima mineral products. My skin is really dry so I am hesitant to buy until I try.

I would love the chance to try out the Alima Pure lip balm. I'm a balm junkie but still looking for my holy grail product. I recently bought some Alima Pure sample pots after seeing them on TIA and can't wait for them to arrive!

Freja is such a lovely pinky-nude color, great for daytime! I have a full size jar that I got a couple of years ago with the Goddess collection (with Aphrodite and Venus e/s).
Shame they raised their prices with $1,50 again since last night. I wanted to order a few e/s samples this week but they also stopped selling those for some reason.
