With my 45+ skin growing dryer and more prone to creases, I’m looking for a powerful protector against the elements and the dryness of winter. I have tried one other copper-based formula and it proved to be sticky, gooey and an all-around unpleasant experience. This wasn’t so with Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair
from Osmotics Cosmeceuticals
(from $58 in the shop
The product has a formula that smooths on with a satisfying thickness and absorbs completely into the skin. Once there, it thoroughly protects against the wind, cold and dry air. I’ve used it twice a day, concentrating on the areas prone to lines — brows, eyes, lips, and mouth. As a result, I’ve consistently experienced moist, pliable, supple skin with every use. I applied it with my regular day and night creams.
Firming Elasticity Repair may or may not stop the skin’s aging process, but it will certainly help you combat the most obvious signs. I was very glad to have the added protection of this product and felt that I was doing more to prevent my skin from the ravages of dryness. I would recommend this cream to anyone like myself who has mild wrinkles and needs heightened protection. Don’t be alarmed by the blue color! The cream is invisible as soon as applied.
