Neova Ti-SILC is a sunblock that has been recommended to me for post-peels or after extended retinol treatment. Since it is so gentle and effective, it is a great option for anyone who wants a good sunscreen without fear of allergic reactions. Neova Ti-SILC comes in SP45 and SP60 (the latter is supposed to be effective even after 80 minutes in water). The Neova range is based on
GHK copper peptides, which makes this sunscreen round effective anti-aging solution.

It's really hard to find a good sunscreen that does no evil. I keep going back to Fallene, which is mineral. Trouble is that it is chalky and you need to use the tinted version (otherwise you can audition for Phantom of the Opera).

Its a hybrid. Titanium dioxide is the mineral active and octinoxate is the chemical (octinoxate is a toxin, but a study has demonstrated that the concentrations in sunscreens are not absorbed and not harmful). The best sunscreen I have found - and I keep going back to it - is by Fallene (and I have rosacea etc and need to be careful). It is entirely mineral. Comes with an SPF of 58. The downside is that it is chalky so you need to get the tinted version.

Right now, I am using Murad Oil-Free Sunblock SPF 30 on a recommendation. I wish I hd looked into it more. There is a significant quantity of oxybenzone, which is a little more hazardous than I would like. I am looking for a replacement.

I like SkinCeuticals Physical UV Defense SPF 30. The zinc oxide is transparent, so no need for a tint, excellent protection, no oxybenzone, and a hazard score of 2 of 10 from the Cosmetics Safety Database.

Hi, I was wondering if you could share what the ingredients are in this sunblock? Is it a chemical or a physical sunblock? And is it non-comedongenic/non-acnegenic? I have problems finding sunblock (and moisturizers) that don't make me break out. Thanks so much!
