Truth in Aging wouldn’t be what it is today without our beloved community. So when you rave about a product, we listen! And then of course spread the word. In honor of Valentine’s Day, we thought it would be most appropriate to round up a list of the skincare products you’ve told us you love. Here they are… in your own words.

Nisha: M.A.D Skincare Environmental Protection Serum ($60 in the shop) – “Let it be known that I’m not easily impressed by most antioxidant products… however, a bit of research piqued my interest, which morphed into a product obsession.”

Kim: Avitalin Radiance Growth Factors Complex ($100 in the shop) – “Since I’ve been using it my skin has looked wonderful – clear, healthy and vibrant.”

Julie Kay: ReLuma Skin Illuminating Anti-Aging Serum (from $145 in the shop) – “It has re-texturized deeply wrinkled skin, basically rolling back the years.”

Alison: Brow Vitality Complex ($36 in the shop) – “This is a product I will keep on hand forevermore. I am absolutely thrilled that I finally found something that worked to fill in my patchy brows. A definite thumbs up!”

Eye Creams

Nisha: Your Best Face Correct ($150 in the shop) – “A beauty product that one can say is life changing is a rare find and YBF Correct is truly one of those exceptional products that can change your life.”

Copley: Skinfinite LOL Eye Serum ($45 in the shop) – “Skinfinite’s eye serum glides on easily, softening fine lines and deftly brightening under-eye shadows with the help of peptides and botanicals. I keep it in the refrigerator for an additional cooling effect to bring down puffiness in the early a.m.”

Ann: Stemulation Elevate Eye Cream ($75 in the shop) – “This is a wonderful product that ranks right up there with YBF Correct. It does it all. After using this eye cream, my lids felt lifted and smooth.”

JustD: Osmosis Refresh PM Eye Repair Serum ($54 in the shop) – “This repair serum keeps my entire eye area from drying throughout the day, even with makeup and eye shadow applied. It never looks crepey and my whole eye area feels hydrated. With a little help from my makeup bag, my eyes are GORGEOUS!”

Moisturizers

Emily: BRAD Biophotonic Ultra Elastin Cream ($195 in the shop) – “The first jar of this product, which I used mostly as a night cream, lasted about two months and really smoothed, brightened, and hydrated my skin (both face and neck), which was feeling drawn and old at the start of the season.”

Liz: Dr. Alkaitis Organic Day Crème ($65 in the shop) – “The biggest improvement that I have seen, or rather felt, is in the texture of my skin. The smoothness in four weeks is really impressive, and I haven’t felt the need to use an exfoliating product at all.”

Kiku: Prana Reishi Mushroom Shield ($42 in the shop) – “After two months of daily use, I can say that I trust [this] product to protect the delicate exposed skin of my face, neck and chest.”

Masks, Gels and Treatments

Grace: Mukti Buttermilk & Oat Pink Clay Masque ($50 in the shop) – “After the first use, my skin looked radiant. After the second use, I noticed those stubborn white heads were less visible. This product truly does a great job at deep cleansing, and I will continue to use it weekly.”

Julie Kay: Living Nature Hydrating Toning Gel ($35 in the shop) – “This is the best hydration product I’ve used to date! I use it to prepare my skin for the next level of skincare... be it serum for day or a heavy night cream... this gel preps my skin to absorb the next phase like magic.”

Dennis: Osmosis Polish ($44 in the shop) – “The scent is absolute heaven – I found myself sniffing my fingers long after applying… Polish is a very mild enzyme mask that will keep dull skin at bay while the scent will make you feel pampered.”

Erin: Dr. Alkaitis Organic Soothing Gel ($60 in the shop) – “After I had my eyebrows threaded, I used a dime-sized amount around that area of my face, and the burn that immediately follows this type of treatment subsided, leaving my face feeling smooth and soft.”

Copley: Envy Medical Skin Clarifying Acne Treatment Pads ($25 in the shop) – “The pads deliver a well-rounded punch to acne.”

Nisha: Arcona Tea Tree Mask ($30 in the shop) – “After 15 minutes of using this mask, my skin felt soft, hydrated and exceptionally energized.”

Emily: Truth in Aging Ultra Renew ($89 in the shop) – “Nothing else seems to deliver as well for firming and plumping.”

Makeup

AgelessJen: Osmosis Colour Mineral Pressed Base ($34 in the shop) – “It provides a smoothness I’ve never seen in my cream foundations.”

Living Nature Mascara ($29 in the shop) – “As a thickening mascara, it definitely does the job.”

Body

Nina: Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Age Repair Body Lift ($95 in the shop) – “Removing stretch marks sans procedure is big talk, as is any promise to lift parts heavier than an eyelid or jowl. However, I am exceedingly pleased to report that after one month, my stretch marks indeed look at least 72% better!”

Emily: Retrospect Feet, Knees & Elbows ($38 in the shop) – “I’ve become completely dependent on this lotion. It’s rich – but not greasy – extremely soothing and emollient.”

Retrospect Hand and Nail Reconstructor ($36 in the shop) – “I agree completely with Lily’s recent review: it is an exceptional hand, cuticle, and nail cream.”

Nisha: Red Flower Ohana Gingergrass Bamboo Scrub ($66 in the shop) – “Red Flower’s unique body scrub transcends all others and is the best body scrub I have ever used. Using this heavenly scrub is not just an indulgence, it’s an experience.”

Imelda: Bar Method Change Your Body DVD ($20 in the shop) – “Through the years, I’ve paid attention to my body as much as my face with daily workouts. Bar Method Change Your Body is among my current favorite workout DVDs.”
