Before I continue with my review of
ReLuma Lash (
$95 in the TIA shop), I can tell you that I have used at least a half of dozen other growth products before this. Everything from the higher end
Li Lash and original Jan Marini to less expensive brands including Ardel. I can tell you that price isn't always a factor of performance. But I'm not here to compare or critique those brands so I will tell you what I found different about the ReLuma Lash.
First off as another reviewer has stated, patience is key with this product. With some other brands I found growth results as early as two weeks time, so I was feeling a little skeptical about the product after 3 weeks. I stuck with the instruction of applying twice a day and it paid off. Right about the fourth week it was quite noticeable. I have fine light lashes and not only were they noticeably longer but darker and thicker too. This is the first product that I found a thickness result with. I'm used to unframed mouse eyes when I wake up in the morning but now my lashes are darker and more defined with no makeup applied.
This product caused no stinging in the eyes as others are apt to do. I have dark brown eyes so I did not notice any iris color change as some growth products warn of. One other plus is that they supply an ample amount in its container so the cost actually comes out much more product than others at the same price. Bottom line I was satisfied with the results of this product more than any others I have tried. WILL buy again.

Hi Christi, in my experience Hydropeptide gets going faster, but ReLuma gives better long term results. Both are used by brushing a fine line of the product along the roots of the lashes

Hi, I am not sure, would you purchase reluna or hydropeptide? Seems like hydropeptide works faster, maybe not. Do u use reluna around the eye area. Thank you, wasn't sure which one to order! Christi

Hi Christina - you should be able to get 2-3 months from one tube.

Hi Marta,
I re-read your review of this product, and you're right--results are glacial. I'm on my 6th week, and I still don't see results. I contacted the manufacturer, and someone responded by saying that results can take 2-3 months. I hope they're right or else I'm going to suspect that they're just saying that to get me to purchase another tube...which I'm going to do. Am I a sucker? We'll see :)

HI Christina, Lashipix uses a peptide as the main active, myristoyl pentapeptide-17. This makes it more comparable with Hydropeptide or Code:ai, which use the same active but also a closely related one myristoyl pentapeptide-18. ReLuma uses a human growth factor. You can read more on them in our brand new post 2011 Five Best for eyelash and brow growth http://truthinaging.com/eyes/five-best-for-eyelash-and-brow-2011
