I can think of at least three reasons why Sevani’s Rapid Renewal Resurfacing Crème ($68 in
the TIA shop) is an unusual product. It is a moisturizer and skin brightener at the same time; it really, really is all natural; it has nothing nasty, nothing at all… it is so non-nasty that it’s preservative is made from
radish root. Oh, and it works too – brightening the skin without being at all drying, and controlling oil and breakouts.
My 50-something skin – I used it on my hands, which needed some hydrating and, at summer’s end, something to even skin tone – responded really well. I liked the way it made my hands feel softer and look smoother. Personally, I like the lemony smell, but it is distinct.
Now I come to think about it, this would be perfect 30-something product. As I mentioned in my post the other day, responding to a
reader in her 30s with “dull” skin and an oily T-zone, a good
glycolic/AHA exfoliator would have a two-fold benefit of brightening the skin and controlling the oily skin. At any age, it is hard to find a moisturizer for skin that is prone to breaking out – Sevani’s Rapid Renewal Resurfacing Crème could be it.
In addition to the sugars and fruit acids, responsible for the gentle exfoliating action (and the citrusy smell), there are brighteners in the form of willow bark and licorice.
I like that the
hyaluronic acid – a principle hydrator, along with the olive and sunflower oils – comes from mushroom. There are absolutely no synthetics here. Antioxidants are plant derivatives of bilberry, cactus pear, green and red tea.
What I really like, though, is Sevani’s meticulous attention to detail when it comes to choosing their ingredients and formulating them. This is a brand that we’ll be getting to know more of.

I have three products that I use: one to clean, a toner (I believe) and then the serum and I can't say enough good things about them. I have 30-something skin and it was feeling rough and dull and this was the PERFECT thing for my skin. And I have struggled to fine something that was not chemically based and all natural. I can not recommend this line of products enough. Really good stuff.

I have been using this product for a while now and I can't even think of buying anything else. Not at a department store and not even at the DERMATOLOGISTS office! There is nothing that makes my skin feel and look so good.

I have tried many organic products and find that they never seem to work as good as the products I always use that are not organic. I am trying to wean myself off all my favorite serums, creams, makeups, etc. that have not-so-friendly ingredients (but I do love the products) - maybe this serum would be a good place to start so please consider me for trying this product for you!

I would love to try this serum! I have been looking for a great anti-aging product but want to try and stick to natural and organic lines. The ingredients in here sound fantastic and the H. acid is definitely a must. The fact that this is also certified organic AND sounds like ti would be really effective make it it the kind of product I have been searching for. I would LOVE opportunity to test this out!.:)
