Wow, I think this is the first time I've actually hated a product in my recent obsession to try to find something that will help my hair badly damaged by a salon. Got the shampoo and conditioner nailed, but needed a detangler with protein. I thought this was going to be perfect! All the ingredients I could hope for plus the added hex 11 to hopefully help me grow out the damage just a tad faster and stop the shedding from my stressing about it :) but no, this was pretty terrible for me. First time my head just felt gross. My hair was sticky, my scalp greasy and itchy, i used as much as i normaly would for a detangler (couple of sprays, flip, couple of sprays, work it in). The next time I tried just three spiritses to one to each side and one to the back. It's still nasty. It took several wash days to get rid of the feeling of gross. This is coming from someone who normally uses heavy oils to combat frizz. My hair is fine to medium, wavy and dense. I even tried just using it as a light pre wash treatment and could not get that feeling out of my hair, I had to wait for it to wear off. I'm glad others are having luck! Maybe I got a bad batch, but it was a huge waste of the money I spent. So sad. The hunt continues.

I have finally found the best way to condition my thin, oily hair! I have tried plenty of conditioners and they ALL weigh down my hair - even the ones claiming to be 'body building'. And, if I don't use a conditioner I get the flyaways. Shielo Leave-In is perfect for my medium length tresses. It detangles and protects my hair from styling heat and I now have silky hair that isn't limp. And no static! You only have to spritz a little so, though it may seem a little pricey, it will last quite a long time.

Hi. I was interested in purchasing either Shielo's leave in protectant primarily because of the ingredient Hexapeptide 11. Not sure about its benefit in helping with hair loss though. My question is if Hex 11 activates the androgen receptor gene wouldn't that be hurting the hair follicle and make it more prone to falling out?

I am very, very pleased with the results. I wash my gray tresses with Kiss My Face Whenever Shampoo and follow it with the conditioner. It seems to be working best for me of the organics for now. I have used many leave-in conditioners over the years, Morroccan Oil being the latest, which I do like very much, but this one is lighter and works beautifully. I tend to have three different types of hair on my head, wavy, curly and frizzy, the frizz being located on the fronal and sides areas so I have to be careful not to overload them with wishful thinking and product.
For me, this is a win-win situation, my hair is silky and not dry, or flyaway. The product does what it claims, for me, and I will definitely be buying this product again!
