Snowberry Nourishing Lite Day Cream is a lightweight, anti-aging facial moisturizer designed to help reduce the look of wrinkles and increase skin elasticity.

Directions:
Use in the morning after cleansing and toning. Apply a few pumps to fingertips and smooth around the face and neck. Suitable for all skin types, especially oily/combination and aging skin.

The packaging alone on the Snowberry Nourishing Lite Day Cream will make you smile: cheery, colorful illustrations of parents and children on what looks to be a tree branch or a climbing gym with heart-shaped leaves and doves perched on branches.

So, yes, I liked it. But not just because of the joyful outer box. I liked it for several reasons. One, it comes in a pump format so you dole out just the right amount for your skin. Two: it's smooth and extremely light, with a beige, fleshy color that caressed my face perfectly. It went on clean and absorbed quickly, with no perfumey smell. Three: it's designed for combination skin, which I have. Mostly, though, it worked. It wasn't immediate- at first I thought it might be too light for me but, over time, I felt like it moisturized and smoothed out my skin, especially the bits of rosy rosacea that has crept in since I've gotten older.

What also impressed me the fact that this line is all about being real.The box it comes in is carbon zero with writing on the side that emphatically states lots of NOs in capital letters: No lauryl sulphates, no petrochemicals, no propylene or butylene glycols, no volatile alcohols or artificial colors, no silicones and no DEA or MEA ingredients. It is also dermatologist tested. Plus, if you read the ingredients you'll see the product packs a powerful punch of antioxidants and collagen-boosting peptides to help guard against pesky wrinkles and fine lines. A plus in my book, and I would definitely be interested in trying more from this brand of products.

Everything wonderful that others have said about this product is true for me, too. I've been using the Lite Day Cream just on my forehead which is both dry and oily (I'm testing other products from the Discover with Marta collection on my cheeks and neck : ). I haven't been using any serums beforehand to see how well it performs on its own. And so far, it's been great -- absorbs well, doesn't melt off my face, keeps it hydrated through the day even in hyper-air conditioned office. When I apply it at night, I don't wake up with a glistening forehead. I love the faintly grassy, fresh cornsilk smell. It's too soon to tell how well it works on wrinkles but I'm happy to keep on applying this and then giving the Rich version a shot when the weather gets drier.

I have used both the Snowberry day creams and both are great. I love they way they moisturize my face and yet keep the T zone from becoming oily during the day. I use this Lite Day Cream on some of the hottest days of the year when I will be outside and it works beautifully - never melts off my face. Makeup goes on perfectly with this product - I don't have to use a primer.
