TIA Review by Marta:
When toners say that they are aimed at dry skin that usually means that they are very mild and don't really do much toning. 100% Pure's Jasmine Green Tea Tonique is different. It uses hyaluronic acid as a hydrator and as the "delivery system" (as 100% Pure puts it) for a host of antioxidants. I'm not big on toners, but I find that I eagerly reach for this: it feels great and I find the rose/tea scent to be mild and relaxing.

The hyaluronic acid gives it a very slight thickness, compared to most watery toners. This is not a spritzer, it is to be dabbed from cotton wool balls or tissue and I find that almost acts as a cleanser. In any case, it feels like a quenching treat and its lack of oil- the bases are rose water, green tea and calendula water- will see me through summer. My skin isn't especially dry and so I think this will work for all but oily skins.

As always with 100% Pure, there is nothing nasty here and there are plenty of helpful botanicals including antioxidant licorice, which is also good for calming dermatitis. Chamomile is also a calming and anti-inflammatory ingredient. Cornflower extract is rich in the polyphenols called flavonoids and anthocyanins, as well as anti-inflammatory and slightly astringent. New to me is hyssop extract. This turns out to be a member of the mint family with antioxidant tannins and this too as astringent properties.

This is a really nice product. I use it after showering in the morning and washing my face in the evening. My skin absorbs it within seconds. It thoroughly hydrates and relaxes my skin. It is light and I can easily put other products over it without feeling I have too much on my face. I have purchased at least 5 bottles. Sadly though, I will look for another product. The lovely packaging seems like a wasteful expense after the first purchase. Why isn't a refill bottle an option? Although I received a refill once--a plain bottle with cap--each time I've purchased it since then, I received the heavy milk-glass bottle in a round two-part cardboard sleeve. Could TIA please provide a refill option?

I truly love this product, but the one thing that really bothers me is you get this fair sized and very heavy bottle, which to me is very deceiving as to the amount of product you actually get. I could go through a bottle a week and possibly more using it with my Renew Plus. I think instead of spending the money on an undoubtedly expensive bottle, I would much prefer a simple bottle and get more product.

  • After switching to all-natural facial products I was frustrated. I loved my former toner but I found out it contained a questionable ingredient. I tried a couple toners but last time I ordered 100% Pure Jasmine Green Tea toner and I really like it. I have dry, mature skin and this feels hydrating and is non-irritating, even when I have a rash on my face, which happens periodically. This toner feels like it's doing my face some good.

Hi Kelli, I think you might be pleased to hear that there is a preservative in this product. The Japanese Honeysuckle functions as a preservative and is widely used by formulators of natural cosmetics. There is some controversy around it, but not regarding its efficacy as a preservative. You can read more about it here:

I got this product along with the eye cream and night cream as a gift. Before using any products I always look at the ingredients list and do research if necessary before using them on my skin.
I decided it wasn't worth taking a chance on putting any of these products on my skin. The ingredients list is 100% pure and natural but they do not list any type of preservative. Any cosmetic containing water or water soluble ingredients really needs to contain a preservative and contrary to what people will try to make you believe, essential oils are not preservatives and are not meant to preserve cosmetics. It's a shame since the rest of the ingredients list is completely natural, but putting a non-preserved product on your skin is like applying a biology experiment. It could cause serious issues.

Bought this toner once kind of on a whim. I usually use Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel, which isn't my HG but I think it's good for the price. I use a toner daily at night after my shower, to help remove any remaining makeup/cleanser, hydrate, and calm irritation. This is a good toner at all of those things. It's not quite as hydrating as I'd like, but it's gentle. It has a lovely tea scent. I wish there was more in the bottle, but the price isn't exhorbitant. Toner's one of those things that I tend to buy a little cheaper since I can and spend some more money on other things, but if I did I would buy this again.

100% Pure Jasmine Green Tea Tonique. I love this, its my go to prduct it leaves my skin feeling very hydrated. I also use this along with my Ultra renew serum, to keep it moist enough while using the Ulta renew plus, One of my faces best friends.

  • I need to add another comment regarding the Jasmin Green Tea tonique, I feel I may have jumped the gun and rated it too soon after using it, The thing is, after you get down to about 2/3 of the products it just quit spraying and when I shooked the bottle real well it was as if it was a solid mass at the bottom, and even after all the shaking I ubscrewed the bottle and I absolutely could not get even a drop of anything out of the bottle, even though with the weight I knew there was still product in the bottle. I proceeded to add water as I didn't think it was wise to mess with adding anything else that wasn't already in it. I then proceeded to really give that bottle a good shaking and this apparently, (for now), worked as its back to functioning just fine. It appeared that it seperated and the light watery spray was not the combined product The stuff at the bottom, was a heavy cream like substance that would budge no matter how hard I tried to shake some out.
I'm adding this to my previous comments, as it really is a fantastic product, but for you that have not yet experienced this (and may not) I'm going to suggest that each time you use this product, shake it really well, and hopefully you won't have to dilute it as I did. Hope this helps. And in case your wondering, I would still continue to purchase this.

Forgot to add my rating, would give it a higher rating if it were possible.
You just can't go wrong with this amazing product at such a reasonable price.

  • I love this toner as it's not drying as I have found most are. I also use it as a spritzer, as it seemd my skin just drinks it up, so its the only way to get an adequate amount.
Other than that, not being a toner user, this is especially great on those hot days when your skin can really use a "pick me up". I will most defenitely continue to use, and have added it to my favorite go to list.

I must say that this is the first toner that really works for me! I've tried more than 30 different toners and none of them ever contributed that much to my skin. I've checked ingredients list which seemed to me very attractive and thought oh well, let's give it a try - at least it won't irritate my sensitive skin.

And wow! I'm using it right after hydropeptide cleansing gel and this toner does all it promises to do - it really hydrates, somewhat soothes and calms my skin. It instantly melts into skin leaving no unpleasant sticky finish, which I've encountered a lot when using dozens of other toners. It absolutely does not irritate or dry my skin, nor it clogges pores or causes any nasty break-outs. Sometimes I feel that this toner is pretty enough as a moisturizer.

A absolutely love it! One of the best products for such attractive price!

Thanks TIA for this wonderful discovery!

I put some in a small spritzer bottle to mist this on. Makes the application easier especially while doing the ultrasound/LED. I love the light scent and my skin just drinks it in.

I use 100% Pure products and I love every single one of them, from the skin care to the cosmetics. I know a lot of women don't really care for the fragrance (the odor because 100% Pure uses nothing artificial) in the skin care and it's because a few of the products smell "Earthy" for lack of a better word. I really dig their products and enjoy the simplicity of the product. You simply cannot go wrong with 100% Pure.
