I’m 56 years old with combination skin along with large pores, adult acne and fine lines around the eyes. When I tested the Abeeco Anti-Aging Support Crème (NZ $48 or about $43), I expected it to help combat fine lines, improve skin texture through collagen production, and moisturize.
I couldn’t find a complete list of ingredients for this product. The jar and website both list only key ingredients. Perhaps since the product is from New Zealand, they are not required to list them all? The first listed ingredient, Royal Jelly, is a bee product with dubious claims as a skincare product.
I used the crème day and night for about a month. I liked the consistency; it’s fairly thick but absorbs into the skin quickly. The fragrance is natural, and while I couldn’t really identify it, I found it to be faint and pleasing. Once absorbed, it left my skin feeling soft and not at all greasy. It even worked well under foundation.
I can’t say that I noticed any dramatic difference in my skin. However, after about three weeks, it did seem that my pores were not quite as clogged and noticeable. It did not irritate my skin or cause any breakouts. Though, I saw no difference in the fine lines around my eyes.
Overall, I liked this product quite a bit as a moisturizer and would consider purchasing. I would rather see it in a tube for sanitary reasons. It is not a miracle wrinkle remover, but I was not expecting it to be.
