I’m one of those women who when spending more than $40 on a product expect immediate and miraculous results. I’ve rarely stuck to constant use of a product for more than a month and I don’t recall any facial product until now that actually did for me what it advertised in less than a month. I, like many, have that box of facial products as backup to what ever I’m currently using.

Initially I started out using each product morning and night but switched ReLuma to night only as I started noticing little red bumps emerging under the ReLuma eye, as soon as I backed off to only applying at night they disappeared. I massaged ReLuma into the wrinkles on the outside corner and the area underneath my left eye. I started to notice a difference on the ReLuma eye at around 3 weeks, now after six weeks there is a marked decrease in wrinkles on the outer area. The under eye area is not responding as well, there may be a slight improvement but not enough to say at this point that ReLuma works well for under eye wrinkles, something that Marta must know as I notice in her regimen she does not use ReLuma under her eyes. I’ve massaged Algenist each morning and evening on the outer corner and under eye area and also applied to brow and eyelid area. I prefer the texture of Algenist for eye use and it has helped with dryness but after six weeks of day and night use I do not see any improvement in the “fine lines and wrinkles” on my right eye.

After six weeks I still have about half the 0.5oz jar of Algenist left and a little less than a fourth of the ReLuma 20mL bottle. The Algenist was used on all areas of one eye and the ReLuma was used on corner and under one eye and on the rest of my face and lower neck front.

Simply put, Algenist did not compare to ReLuma. After 6 weeks of using both products, ReLuma get’s my vote not only for eye wrinkles but also for over all improvement to the texture of my facial skin. I plan on trying the ReLuma eye cream in the future and saving the serum for the rest of my face.
