It's not easy finding a good eye cream: they really have to be tailored to the individual. Anti-aging eye creams are the most popular, including ingredients that help reduce puffiness and dark circles. Anthony For Men Eye Cream is a favorite on the market, promising to soothe, reduce puffiness, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

On my trip to Spain, my friend was confident that the Anthony For Men Eye Cream was doing nothing for him, so I thought I'd check it out. Obviously, the first thing I did was look at the ingredients list. It's chockfull of emulsifiers and emollients and PEGs and preservatives... the first problem I found with the eye cream. One of the top ingredients is hydrolyzed wheat protein, which does help moisturize and firms but it's really not going to fully solve the problem. It's not until you get to the middle of the ingredients that you discover the jackpot of goodies like shea butter, which is incredibly moisturizing and smoothing and known to help out wrinkles. There's caffeine, an antioxidant that can give you an instant perk and may help reduce the dark circles over time. Green tea extract in the eye cream helps fight off free radicals. One other note is the cucumber seed extract, which also contains anti-inflammatory properties and actually works as a tightening agent in emulsions, so it can definitely help benefit tired, stressed skin. It's also rather cooling, which enhances that quick perk.

When I applied the Anthony for Men Eye Cream, it was almost scentless (very mild on a fruity angle). I think the addition of some essential oils could have brought it up a notch. However, it did absorb quickly and gave my eyes a certain, temporary "lift." It's not bad for an eye cream on the go (or the cream "for now") but I can't see every day use of this having an extraordinary affect on anti-aging. It needs a little more concentration on ingredients that aren't completely lost in the emulsifiers and preservatives. With that said, Anthony for Men Eye Cream is not bad at all but it could be better.
