Arbonne Makeup Primer ($35) is a silicone based primer that has a slippery gel-like texture.  It is slightly pink but transparent on application.  I tested this primer with the half face method where I only apply primer on half of my face.

I have normal combination skin and by midday, I noticed that both sides of my face had the same amount of oil. What it does well is provide a smooth surface for my foundation to glide over.  It also helps fill in my pores a little bit.

I think this primer is best for normal to dry skin.  Those with oily skin may be disappointed in the lack of oil control.
