It’s been a while since I’ve been able to remain disciplined enough to use a toner. I always have a facial cleanser on hand, but I usually forgo any other steps because my skin is fairly clear, and I seldom have the necessary cotton pads needed. However, since I have recently been using facial masks, I found this toner extremely helpful.
First of all, it doesn’t smell overwhelmingly of alcohol or other strong scents, which can sometimes sting my eyes in the process. I applied it after using Aubrey Revitalizing Therapy Cleanser with Rosa Mosqueta Rose Hip Seed Oil ($14.95) or after using any facial mask, such as Aubrey Clarifying Therapy Clay Mask ($12.95), or my favorite mask, GLAMGLOW Super-Mud Clearing Treatment ($69). Sometimes I find it difficult to remove the residue of a cleanser or mask, but this toner did the trick! It was incredibly helpful in wiping away anything left over by other products, especially around my hairline.
The Aubrey toner left my skin feeling clean and fresh, with a slight cooling effect that’s been especially nice during the hot summer weather. The bottle has lasted me almost two months and doesn’t seem close to being empty. I’ve found that a little of this goes a long way on a cotton ball or pad.
My skin is generally clear on my face, so I didn’t notice any immediate results; however while using this toner among some other Aubrey Organics products, I did receive several compliments on how bright and clear my skin looked!
