Avitalin Youth Essentials 1.4 fl oz

I am officially convinced that there’s something magical lurking in Avitalin skincare. Yes, each product is uniquely formulated. And yes, the ingredients are unusual – perhaps even a bit exotic (deer velvet extract!) – but even with all that, I still think there’s a little sprinkling of fairy dust in there somewhere. I know the best reviews on TIA tend to be more scientific and don’t usually include words like “fairy dust,” but I just don’t know how else to explain it. This line is special!

I’ve most recently been using the Avitalin Youth Essentials Ageless Skin Complex ($65 in the shop). It’s Avitalin’s “most powerful age-defying cream,” according to the site. It features the brand’s unique BioMiracle Age Defense Complex, which combines marine cell bioactivators, proteins, ancient Russian and Indian herbal extracts and rare raisins. To be honest, I have no idea what most of that is, but I can tell you that it’s making my skin very, very happy.

To give you some context, I just recently turned 39. My skin looks pretty young and healthy, although it is starting to show signs of age. I’ve realized that little fine lines here and there don’t really matter much if your skin looks healthy and vibrant. So I’ve been focusing less on reducing “this tiny crease” or “that tiny line” and more on keeping my skin nourished. I’ve found that when my skin is balanced, it radiates. For me, every Avitalin product I’ve used seems to help my skin stay balanced, and much less sensitive. Overall, when I’m using this line, my skin is in amazing condition. It’s like putting my face on a really healthy diet of superfoods.

The Youth Essentials cream, in particular, is a rich luxurious cream that feels AMAZING upon application. It’s incredibly soothing, as well as plumping. But even more than that, it feels like my skin is drinking up all the nutrients it needs to stay in perfect health. And I love that there is absolutely nothing nasty in any of Avitalin’s products. The entire Youth Essentials jar lasted me about a month and a half. And while I would definitely buy it again, I’m tempted to try another one of these wonderful products, since they all seem to have such a magical effect on my skin.

I was interested to read Kim's review since I recently bought the Avitalin Youth Essentials myself -- having had a good experience last year testing the night cream -- and just started using it a couple of weeks ago. I have to agree with you, Kim! Even though I'm almost two decades older than you -- my skin is loving it. Somewhere between a cream and a serum, it's very nourishing and hydrating, and yet feels light.
