Avon Anew Platinum Night Cream- reader reviewed
I have just completed a four-week use of the Avon Anew Platinum Night Cream ($38), which is part of Avon’s Platinum line formulated for women 60+. I used the cream every night and still am using it since I have some left. The product is very rich, but this dissipates after application. There were some obvious changes in the look and feel of my skin: skin was much softer with more clarity. However, the brown spots on my skin did not fade at all, and my wrinkles remained the same. There is a slight tingle at first use, which was okay – and if you get it on your lips, there is a citrus taste. I had hoped to see some diminishing of lines, especially around the eyes and lips. The only real change I experienced was a new smoothness to the skin. I would not buy this cream and probably would not recommend it to anyone else unless they are just looking for softness.
