Mineral makeup mavens Bare Escentuals have brought out a new mascara called Buxom Lash($18). For a while, at least, Buxom Lash is exclusively available at Sephora (see links below) amidst claims that this mascara will never flake or clump. And, although Bare Escentuals don't make too much of it, Buxom Lash has plenty of ingredients that could make your lashes bat with health and happiness.

Tribehenin is a fatty acid, while squalane, sorbitan sesquioleate and sodium hyaluranate will moisturize and condition. As well as some vitamin E, there is rosa centifolia (cabbage rose) flower extract, typically used in cosmetics as a skin conditioner. The inevitable mineral factor is  supplied by rhodochrosite, sometimes more romantically referred to as rose of the Incas.

The super sensitive should beware of a few potential irritants: triethanolamine, ethylhexylglycerin and phenoxyethanol.
