CHI Ceramic Nail Lacquer

May 1, 2008 Reviewed by Marta 0 Comments
It's been a couple of weeks since I reviewed and recommended Dazzle Dry nail polish (harmful chemical free and doesn't easily chip). I've just spotted another, CHI Ceramic Nail Lacquer, that looks worth checking out further.

CHI's better known hair products don't have sulfates and the Ceramic Nail Lacquer takes the same approach by eshewing formaldehyde (dries out nails and makes them brittle), toulene (a toxic paint thinner) or phthalate (a toxin banned from children's toys). It does have a few ingredients that aren't in your grandmother's nail polish: nano silver to protect against bacteria), ceramic makes it chip resistant, silk for a smooth application, and a UV filter (they don't say which one) to stop color fading.

There's a nice long handle to aid application and 56 colors.
