I was asked (in sweetly demure terms) the other day about "peri-menopausal pimples on the neck and decolte". The implication being that suddenly, for no good reason, so it must be hormones, there are breakouts were there ought not to be. Post-adolescence and peri-menopause have had an uninterrupted continuum as far as my life is concerned. I think that qualifies me to respond since it has taken me 25 or more years to come up with a solution to cleavage breakout.

Step 1: Use the softer of the two Clarisonic brush heads on dry skin all over the neck and decolte.

Step 2: Use the harder of the two Clarisonic brush heads in the shower in conjunction with Japanese Charcoal Cleanser. Charcoal is great at removing impurities from clogged pores and then helping to tighten the pores again to avoid a vicious circle. Personally, I avoid using any other shower gel or soap on this area.

Step 3: A once a week peel.  Juice Beauty Green Apple Body Peel is a new find for me and I think it has already been a huge help. I've been using it twice a week, but (finger's crossed) should be able to go down to once a week. It is a clear gel that you leave on for 10 minutes and then rinse off.

This regimen has proved to be good on arm bumps and zits on the shoulders as well.
