Definitions Skincare Sweet Vanilla Body Lotion- reader reviewed
I have been using the Definitions Skincare Sweet Vanilla Almond Body Lotion for the last four weeks in the hope of finding my new favorite body lotion. This product is full of wonderful things. First of all, it has hyaluronic acid as one of the top ingredients. I have come to love what this ingredient does for my skin. After my morning shower, I applied the Definitions body lotion on damp skin. I am 53 years old, and I have fairly dry skin, and this product did an awesome job of keeping my skin hydrated throughout the day. I also found that the lines and wrinkles I usually get on my décolleté area seemed much smoother. Then we have shea butter and aloe barbadensis in the mix – more wonderful hydration help.
As for the fragrance, the sweet vanilla and almond scent was very pleasing (I had to constantly tell my two collies I was not a Popsicle).
The only thing that I did not like is the size. In the four-week period, I used every bit of it and even cut open the tube to get the last drop. However, at $20 for a bit over four ounces it did not do the trick for me. Also, I prefer a pump or something in jar form so it is easier to get the product out and more convenient to use. While it is a great product, the size and price was a deal killer for me. I would probably not spend the $20 for such a small amount.
I think for the time being I will stick with my CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion until I find that perfect lotion (at a reasonable price) to keep my aging skin feeling soft and smooth.
