TIA's Take:

Dermablend's two-step "Cover and Fix" system, combining Cover Creme and Setting Powder, can't be beat for long-lasting coverage. Very few alternatives will provide the same thorough and natural color wear for up to 16 hours. We like Dermablend's buildable formulas, which enable smooth blending, and its incorporation of SPF, which prevents scars and freckles from worsening due to sun exposure. Dermablend's Quick Fix Concealer, intended for dark under-eye circles, bruises, blemishes, age spots, and scars, might clog pores with mineral oil and raise cancer concerns with talc, but at least it redeems itself with pure pigments for color and physical blockers for sun protection. When you're trying to overcome aesthetic imperfections, the last thing you want to do is compound the problem by assaulting your skin and/or your health. For the most part, Dermablend seems ideal for extremely dry and discolored skin (in spite of claims that its cosmetics are suitable for all skin types), since those prone to blemishes will tend to break out under layers of product.
