I am 55 and have brown spots on my left hand (driving side!), along with hang nails, bad cuticles and nails that don’t grow on both hands, so if anyone needs an anti-aging hand cream, it’s me!

Short of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light therapy), I have given up trying to find anything that will alleviate or make all these problems disappear, so when I see a hand cream designated as “anti-aging” – as was the DermaE Anti-Aging Hand Crème ($9.50), I jump on the bandwagon.

I have used and am familiar with Derma-e products, and I like them. I have mainly used their face creams with success, so the hand cream is a first in their line for me. I love the smell – it smells like green tea, and the scent is pleasant and light, not in the least cloying. I love that it is not greasy and soaks right into my skin. I take the elasticity test with all hand creams – I pinched the back of my hands after applying the lotion, and the skin bounced right back. So it maintains the skin’s elasticity, which is a huge plus with a hand cream. To me that means it’s working!

I have read all the ingredients and they’re the big guns-especially the MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) that is on the list. I have used the cream now for close to the month required and while I still have brown spots, which I knew would not be less noticeable (I didn’t see any type of hydroquinone in the ingredients list), I have noticed nicer nails – they seem to look a bit healthier around the cuticle area, which is a real treat because I am always struggling to keep them hydrated. The hang nails have not completely disappeared yet, but I feel that with continued use that this cream will make a huge difference in the appearance of my hands. I fully intend to continue using this product long after I’ve finished this tube. Overall, this cream gets a 9 out of 10! The only thing that would’ve made this perfect is if it had worked to lighten brown spots.

I find the best thing to do for hands is after applying cream to my face I use what is left over on fingers to back of hands. also if you like dermae it is simple just use their creams to get rid of age spots. "Skin Lighten" under therapeutic or use the yellow label "Even tone". You don't have to use cream just use serum. I will use skin lightening on arms and shoulders as well. You will see a difference quickly. remember to also use sunscreen. I like mineral so u don't feel it.
