Dermaheal's Two Weeks Miracle sure throws down the gauntlet. Few products make such an ambitious claim and I am doubtful as to whether it can be delivered on. When I contacted Dermaheal for information on the ingredients, they kindly sent me a sample of the Redesign four-step pack ($75). I'll be trying it out and the countdown begins today to my full review in two weeks' time.

According to Dermaheal, my transformation in two miraculous weeks will be the result of four factors: peptides; fermented organic ingredients; fresh plant extracts; and nano-encapsulation technology. And there are no parabens. So far, so good. However, scanning the ingredients reveals that the peptides come at the very end and so are, presumably, in pretty small concentrations.

There are a large number of ingredients in each of the four products, so I am going to review their ingredients and my immediate impressions on each over the next few days, starting with the first step, Redesign Miracle Solution in this post. When two weeks are up, I'll give my assessment of the whole thing.

Redesign Miracle Solution is basically a toner that is supposed to clarify the complexion. Personally, I'm not big on toners, regarding them as a bit of a waste of time and money unless you have very oily skin and enlarged pores. Still, I was pleased to note that this toner doesn't tighten the skin in that harsh, prickly way that many do. This is possibly due to the use of citrus extracts, including citrus junos (known as yuzu), which comes from East Asia.

One intriguing botanical is sophora angustifola, which has a component in it that is similar to nicotine and is toxic in large quantities. Because it is an antibacterial, it may be doing the preservative job of the absent parabens. Meanwhile, job's tears extract provide an anti-inflammatory. A new one to me is phaseolus radiatus. This is red bean extract and it is an antioxidant, according to a Taiwanese study.

Ingredients in Redesign Miracle Solution

Water, glycerin, butylene glycol, glycerin/glyceryl acrylate/acrylic acid copolymer/propylene glycol/PVM/MA copolymer, methyl gluceth-20, betaine, grapefruit extract/citrus junos fruit extract/eucalyptus/clove flower extract/sophora angustifola, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, licorice root extract, camellia sinensis, centella asiatica, coix lacryma-jobi ma-yuen (job's tears) seed extract, soybean seed extract, phaseolus radiatus, 1,2-hexanediol, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, polysorbate 80, hydrogenated castor oil, PEG-11, methyl ether dimethicone, soybean oil, phosphatidylcholine, triethanalomine EDTA, fragrance, copper tripeptide-1, oligopeptide-24, oligopeptide-34, tripeptide-6.

Leaves my skin feeling and looking fresh, vibrant, younger and eliminates fine lines. For an all natural and organic product this is a definite winner and no price can be to high for these kind of results.

    Hi Marta
Can you give us some feedback on the "2 Weeks Miracle" program?

I'm a big fan of toner. Unlike cleanser, it actually stays on your face and can do some good! But I guess there are cleanser people, and there are toner people, and we'll just have to get along. :)
