I never had acne when I was younger and now in my middle age it is a problem for me. I had the opportunity to try The SpotLite Acne Treatment Device from Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare for my review for Truth in Aging.

After reading the information on the DDG website I looked forward to trying it based on the information that it is a medical grade LED device that harnesses the power of blue and red light therapy to treat acne while reducing inflammation and preventing future breakouts in just 3 minutes a day.

Overall I think the DDG Spotlite was convenient and easy to use. It helped with the redness and to clear up the acne faster then it would have without using it. It also seemed to have helped with preventing reoccurring breakouts.

I did have a problem when using it to get the light to stay on for the 3 minutes and sometimes it took several tries. When it shut off after the three minutes there was no beep as indicated in the instructions. I would have to watch for when the light went out on the device.

It is perfect for helping without unwanted breakouts and I would recommend it.
