I have used many of Dr Dennis Gross products and have loved every single one of them so I jumped at the chance to try the Triple Correct Eye Serum ($69.00 in the shop).  As someone who just turned 40 I am always looking for a new eye product to help minimize those pesky fine lines, dark circles and the milia I just can't seem to get rid of and this product looked to fit the bill. However, I am quite conflicted as I write this review for a few reasons.

The product was nice and a little goes a long way which is always a nice thing for products that carry a high price tag.  I was given approximately .78 oz to test, used it morning and night and it lasted about 4 months, however I probably used a little more than I should have as I tend to do so it would likely last a little longer. It is a gel-like consistency (which I have heard is best to use when you have milia), it goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and per the directions can even be applied to the eye-lid which is typically a no no!  It did make the area around my eyes smooth and did do wonders for my eyelids.  They appeared smoother and my eye shadow went on and stayed on.  My eyes did appear brighter however I did not have any reduction in fine lines.

The concern I have with the Triple Correct Eye Serum surrounds some of the ingredients.  I typically research product ingredients before using it but I did not here due to my past positive experience with Dr. Dennis Gross products.  The ingredients list is quite long.  And it does boast some impressive and powerful ingredients such as Licorice Root, Ferulic Acid, Uva Ursi, Quercetin, and Ubiquinone which are all offer antioxidant properties (and that's just to name a few).   There are also many that offer anti-aging, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties.

However, there are several that are "questionable" according to not only this site but also the EWG site as potential irritants and carcinogens - I won't list them all here.  All state that they are safe at the correct concentrations and I would have to assume that Dr Dennis Gross has done their due diligence to assure that is the case, it is a bit concerning that one of the questionable ingredients is listed 2nd in the list - propylene glycol.  There is also phenoxyethanol, which is the second to last ingredient but is noted on this site and advised by Marta to even avoid at concentrations less than 1%.  So while there are many beneficial ingredients there are more questionable ingredients than I would typically like to see in something I am applying to my skin, not to mention my eyes and eye lids.

I did enjoy this product as it smoothed and brightened my eyes and provided a nice primer for eye makeup.  I did not see any improvement in fine lines or my dark circles however.  As far as the ingredients go, while I am sure all are added at the proper concentrations, there are just too many questionables for my taste so it would be up to your personal preference as to if this would be ok for you!
