I am going to tell you about a moisturizer. A fabulous moisturizer. An unusual moisturizer. But first, you have to come with me on my terms and promise – cross your heart – to erase the last word of this moisturizer’s name from your mind: Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release Mist ($39).
Yes, that’s right…. no mist, no spray, no spritz. One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release is a moisturizer. And a lovely one. That happens not to be a cream (or gel).
Why am I making such a fuss about this? Well, mark my words, if people get it into their heads that One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release is a mere mist, they will be either mystified (almost a pun) or dismissive. You see, people think a mist is a decadent spray that isn’t really part of a serious skincare routine. So what I want to get across is that this is a serious moisturizer (that you just, well, spray on).
What I like most about One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release is the vitamin D part. There aren’t too many cosmetic products with vitamin D (Dr Dennis Gross Active Vitamin D Serum is one of the few that I can think of), which is a shame since most of us are vitamin D deficient, especially at this time of the year. One Love Organics uses shitake mushroom extract, which is a good source of ergocalciferol or vitamin D2. This is a good thing because ergocalciferol helps protect the skin from sun damage.
The simple formula also has alpine rose extract, which contains the skin whitening compound arbutin. Rice extract is an antioxidant and aloe and safflower moisturize. The preservative, polyaminopropyl biguanide, is relatively benign and unlikely to cause irritation (it is typically used in contact lens solutions).
I find One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release provides lasting hydration for the face, neck and décolleté. I have used it under a serum and those with younger skin could even use it instead of one. I have slightly oily skin and I really like adding the extra moisture that my skin needs in frigid winter conditions without having to add another layer of cream or gel. There is no doubt that One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release will be a regular feature in my routine.

I would love to try this! Sunflower oil is excellent in repairing the skin barrier (which mine is dehydrated) and I am still in search of the perfect makeup remover that is effective but non drying and doesn't cause breakouts.

I love the EDOLO line. I would love to try the cleansing oil. It is the one product in this line that I've been dying to try. This product has gotten such rave reviews in the natural beauty community. I've yet to try the oil cleansing method, but this one looks incredible.

I am hoping to find this multi-tasking facial cleanser and make-up remover that will not only remove make-up and cleanse my oily and problematic skin but also eliminate the day's environmental toxins and calm down the irritation from acne.
This new product sounds like it has the power to do all that so I hope to get chosen to put it to the test.

I would absolutely LOVE to try this product. I am constantly looking for new ways to care for my skin and a good deal LOL! This is both (if I win, of course). My skin is oily as well and I have a hard time finding something that doesn't make it oilier. I love the fact that it has vitamin D in it. During winter I look for anything that will give my body the vitamin D it needs. Especially this one, it's been colder and more snowy than it has been in ten years!
