I'm still on a quest on trying out different face scrubs and truly exceptional exfoliations. One that I came across that feels like sunshine in a tube is Epicuren Man Transform Nourishing Exfoliant ($24). I have to admit, my face has been looking quite rough with this 30-degree weather and, well, let's just say I celebrated my birthday two weeks ago for about two weeks (still celebrating!). So obviously my skin is not happy with the toxins. Epicuren Transform Nourishing Exfoliant turned out to be my best bathroom friend.

Epicuren is a boutique line based out of California and found in several high-end spas. I'm still, to this day, surprised it doesn't have much presence in the beauty world as it's one of the better lines I've used (for men). The Transform Nourishing Exfoliant is all natural with no petrochemicals and perfect for those who survive daily pollution, stress and celebrate two-week long birthdays with lots of partying (ahem). It nourishes the skin while unclenching those clogged pores.

You can expect some amazing extracts: rosemary leaf extract (for its antioxidant properties); sage (another antioxidant with great healing properties, like aloe vera, which is also involved in the product); and jojoba beads (one of the safer exfoliators that actually contributes to removing the top layer of dead skin). There's also some antioxidants that give the Nourishing Exfoliant more beauty cred, like green tea extract and grape seed extract (green tea extract is actually known to reduce sun damage). Tons of vitamins here too, like Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Vitamin A (the latter being a super vitamin in my book as it counteracts inflammations and prevents skin disorders). The natural Indian menthol enhances that "refreshed" feeling.

It's not that rough on the skin (as in it doesn't feel like your damaging one bit) as the beads are subtle. It's a refreshing application and whether you're partying two weeks straight or just want a shiny happy face, Epicuren Transform Nourishing Exfoliant could be your best friend too.

Purified water, aloe vera gel, sodiumc14-15 olefin sulfonate, glycerin, tea- carbomer, polysorbate 20, jojoba beads, natural indian menthol, sage extract, rosemary extract, grape seed extract, green tea extract, chamomile extract, algae extract, panthenol (pro vitamin b5), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e acetate), retinyl palmitate (vitamin a palmitate), ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin c palmitate) citris grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, arctostaphylos uva ursi (bearberry) leaf extract, fennel extract.
