I was both thrilled and shocked when TIA chose me to be allowed to test and review this much renowned E'shee Alpha and Omega Gene Therapy Eye Cream ($284 in the shop), and that they sent it all the way to Australia for me to test. Thank you, TIA!
My review is overall positive. My results weren't spectacular, but they were visible and in a month's time, I don't expect too much more than that. I keep reading that improvement from a skin care product is more likely to be visible 6 months(!!) after beginning its use. However, we consumers of skin care want to see results sooner, to know whether or not to continue a product and continue to invest our hard-earned dollars.
I will start with the results and leave talking about the texture and the package until the end.
After two weeks of using E'shee Alpha and Omega, I had a slight lightening of dark circles. This may be due to the far-infrared ceramic powder, which can increase circulation. It wasn't a great lessening—but to me, this was already pleasing. I wasn't going to have to write a total dud review for a somewhat "dream" product many people would love to use if they could afford it. And I personally wanted it to work, too... It sounds like it has everything in it that the under-eye area could need. There was this feeling that, "if anything is going to work, this should".
After four weeks, while I did not have any further improvement in my dark circles that I could notice, my under-eye area was looking subtly better in general, with perhaps the slightest lessening of the lines there. This area is my 'bete noir'. I am 40 with neither very dry nor very oily skin, and I have many fine lines and a few deeper wrinkles in the eye area, though not elsewhere on the face.
Having my under-eye area look more homogeneous and blend better with the rest of my face, even if only a bit, was nice. It wasn't "miracles in a month", but then, as most of us have read at some point or another, results based on collagen growth tend to take longer than that.
I was happy with the package it came in. It didn't contain a pedestal or a whole lot of literature or much nonsense. I was also happy with the bottle itself and the pump, which was very easy to use and dispensed quite a small amount—this is good, as you really don't need much per use. I was also happy with how it felt, and absorbed into my skin.
I did once or twice have a tiny bit of sensitivity to this product—a few days, about half an hour after applying, I had a little bit of extra moisture in my eyes leaking out. It wasn't much, though, and my eyes did not feel irritated (itchy or stinging) at all. These things are important to many of us at this price point, and again I was pleased to be able to give this product mostly a positive review.
Overall, I'm very happy to have been able to use E'shee Alpha Omega Eye Cream for four weeks, and would consider trying a second time, although I'd have to save my pennies!
