An eye cream especially helpful for minimizing puffiness

The Eslor Firming Eye Cream ($75) smells natural and unscented, and is quite light. It goes on wet, in a good way. Afterward, the eye area feels slick with moisture and glistens for a while after application, which feels quite pleasant. However, the eye cream does soak in entirely after a while – so much so that I did not really find that it functioned as an eye-area moisturizer at all; more as a treatment. Here’s why….

I am very, very prone to under-eye puffiness when I use creams on my face. It happens with nine products out of 10. I have lost count of how many expensive, beautifully formulated eye and face creams I have had to relegate to some other lucky body part because they caused little puffy pockets to appear atop my cheek-bones. On the plus side, this makes for an excellent eye cream testing ground.

The Eslor Firming Eye Cream instructions say to apply just a very little bit… so I applied a lot, and right before bed. This is the ultimate test of a product’s puffability! The result? Nothing. Not only did the Eslor eye cream not puff my under-eye area, it actually reduced any normal overnight puffing. That, right there, has been enough to get me hooked on this product.

I have not noticed any noticeable firming or anti-wrinkling effect in the time I’ve used it, but the Eslor eye cream offers striking and immediate anti-puffing benefits to my under-eye area. I also do not find it moisturizing, so it is of little use to me during the day; however, I have taken to applying it quite religiously at night so that I wake up looking fresh and puff-free.
