First of all, I am a 52-year-old female with what would probably be considered an unusual skin type. Most people complain of having a problem with their t-zone being oily, with or without acne. I, however, have a very dry t-zone and fairly normal skin other than that. I used the Eslor Rejuvenating Day Cream ($78 in the shop) for approximately four weeks.
The product comes in a generously sized, lovely jar. However, for me, the cream was unfortunately too heavy for a day cream. I live in the Great Northwest and this year has been unusually hot and humid, which was a incompatible with such a heavy cream. While it felt lovely, its heaviness would be better suited as a night cream. I also found that the humidity enabled it to wipe off easily. In an attempt at objectivity, I had my 78-year-old mother try it as well, but her conclusion was the same as mine.
One last thing that we both found unusual, due to its all natural ingredients (aloe vera gel, squalene and sweet almond oil, vitamin E, pentapeptides, horsetail, arnica and hop extracts) was its extremely strong scent. I personally was bothered by the fact that the smell didn't dissipate until it was washed off.
Overall, the Eslor Rejuvenating Day Cream was just too heavy for day use and the potent scent may be problematic for those who are sensitive to perfumes. I really wanted to like it and had a difficult time writing this review as I'm sure it would be suitable for some, but the outcome was neither positive nor negative for my skin. However, it's made by a company whose numerous products are getting outstanding reviews, which is something to consider when purchasing this cream.
