A great scrub for smoothing and exfoliating rough dry skin

The timing for me to try GCB Cocoa Butter Mint Melty Moisturizing White Peppermint Sugar Scrub ($26) was incredibly fortuitous! I was in the middle of my less sun/more self-tanner summer and knew the best way to make self tanner look as natural as possible is to exfoliate prior to self-tanner application.

I loved everything about this product: from the adorable spatula applicator to the size of the sugar granules, to the easy-to-use formula and the incredible softness of my skin after application. But my very favorite thing about the Mint Melty was the tingling sensation wherever I used it. In the heat of the scorching NY summer, I adored feeling tingly and refreshed when I stepped out of the shower. My legs and arms, hands and feet felt smooth, soft and yes, polished! And that's a great feeling and a fantastic result of this product. The directions called for usage once a week. I used it once to twice a week and after one month, still have a decent amount left. I would not hesitate to purchase this product again, especially knowing it is 100% natural.

Sucrose (or sugar), is the first ingredient in this product and acts as an exfoliant to loosen dead skin cells via gentle abrasion of the skin. Another main ingredient is grape seed oil, used to control moisture of the skin. Grape seed oil is light and thin and leaves a glossy film over the skin which felt so moisturizing, even after toweling off after the shower.
