I have been sampling two products by Goldfaden MD on my sensitive 55-year-old skin. The first is the Pure Start Gentle Detoxifying Facial Cleanser ($35). When I first started using the facial cleanser, I only used it at night for a couple of days to be sure that I wouldn’t have a negative reaction to it. After having no negative reaction, and liking the way it cleansed, moisturized and felt on my face, I began using it morning and night.

I dispensed one pump of the clear lotion onto my damp hands, rubbed my palms together, and then applied to my face and neck area. The lotion is unscented and felt clean and refreshing. After rinsing thoroughly in warm water, I pat dried. My face wasn’t left dried out – just makeup free. This product only contains organic and natural ingredients and is paraben free. It left my skin feeling nourished.

I especially enjoyed using the cleanser in combination with Goldfaden MD Solution Vital Boost Even Skintone Daily Moisturizer ($68). After cleansing, I put one to two pumps of lotion on my face and neck area. The lotion is white and goes on very smooth. It’s winter time, which means my skin is very dry, so after about 15 minutes I also layered on my regular moisturizing lotion.

The Vital Boost claims to brighten overall skin tone, and it does; my skin looked noticeably brighter after about a week of use. What impressed me the most is the effect it had on an age spot I have recently developed. After about two weeks of using both Goldfaden MD products, the age spot almost completely disappeared, and my skin feels smooth and moist. Also, my pores seem smaller and breakouts on my chin have cleared up.

I really like the fact that the Goldfaden products contain no parabens or petrochemicals. I would recommend these products because they really do work and are great for sensitive skin.
