I was asked to try Goldfaden MD Pure Start Gentle Detoxifying Facial Cleanser ($35) and was extremely happy with the results. I am 48 years old with normal to dry skin. I would dispense three to four pumps of the clear, pleasant smelling cleanser. While it did not lather, it was creamy and went onto my skin smoothly. However, it did take a few splashes of water to remove it completely, and left behind traces of my make-up. My face and neck did not feel tight or dry, but left my skin feeling clean and refreshed.

This product contains both organic and natural ingredients, which my skin responded to beautifully. It is also hypo-allergenic and does not contain any alcohol, mineral oil, or silicone.

I happen to believe that this a really great cleansing product. Dr. Goldfaden's Pure Start Cleanser really does give the ultimate in skincare results. Perfect for sensitive skin and for makeup removal, this hypo-allergenic, pH-balanced cleanser dissolves impurities and claims to remove dead skin cells in one simple step.

It did leave my skin clean, clear, and radiant. I believe this is due to the potent botanical extracts that gently cleanse and balance skin without irritation or dryness. I used the cleanser in the morning and night to get the best results.

Goldfaden MD recently introduced its first dermatologist-developed natural skincare line, which is available without a prescription. According to the company, these new products were inspired by in-office dermatological treatments. Natural and organic ingredients make up the active antioxidant botanical complexes found in these products, which the company says are efficacious, natural, vegetarian and free of mineral oil, parabens, petrochemicals, alcohol, silicones and gluten.

Goldfaden MD, developed by South Florida dermatologist Dr. Gary Goldfaden, provides problem-solving remedies that target a range of specific skin issues.

So now for the things I didn't like which weren't many. First it was a pump so I had no idea how much was left remaining in the bottle, so I didn't know when the bottle was empty. The second was the fact I had to use more than one pump for my face and neck. It just wasn't enough of the lotion for one pump to remove all my make-up. I also had to repeatedly splash water to remove all the lotion off. The last would be the fact that he did not remove my eye and lip make-up.
