Here at Truth In Aging, we are proud to have made friends with the lovely and talented makeup artist, Erica Lytton-Miles and are thrilled that she agreed to video some how-tos for us. Here she shows us how to apply foundation to get a flawless skin tone. This isn't as easy as it sounds. In fact, foundation can make your skin look older and drier if you aren't careful.

Erica is using Bobbi Brown's stick foundation and Osmotics Inner Light (one of our Five Best antiaging foundations), which she pats on over the base for, as she puts it, a dewy look that (Valentine's night diners take note) is great by candlelight.

Some of her tips include:

Exfoliate first - dry patches will look worse under foundation

You don't necessarily need to cover the entire face

Don't forget the neck

Hydrate, hydrate and hydrate
