If you haven't noticed by now, we at Truth In Aging love John Masters. Eco-friendly and certified all-organic, this line, for me, is gold in the beauty industry. I have to give major props to the Bearberry Oily Skin Balancing & Toning Mist (but before I do that, I want to mention something quite funny. My roommate never touches any of my products as he's pretty brand loyal to his but when I came home after a two-week jaunt in China, he had used up all my John Masters Oily Skin Face Wash—then bought it for himself!)

What I love most about John Masters Organics Bearberry Oily Skin Balancing & Toning Mist ($22) are the ingredients. Bearberry extract aids in sebum reduction, and that's essentially the main object of the mist. No frills. The fact it has antioxidant and antibacterial properties also contributes to it being super perfect for what I want out of a toner. It also contains a healthy amount of green tea, which helps nourish and protect the skin and peach, a natural source of alpha-hydroxyacids that tightens the skin (goodbye, wrinkles!). Willowbark is also wonderful as it helps tone and balance the skin. Lots of good stuff here.

I also love that it comes in a 2 oz spritz bottle, which is perfect for traveling. It has that delicious, fragrant scent of flowery extracts. I have to admit, I tend to go overboard with spritzing. With all the great stuff here, I actually spray and gently dab it into my skin for full absorption.

Great to hear from everyone for the feedback!

    Michelle,

To answer your question, it's the latter, although would work as a "spray on" (for me it dries quickly).
I am a full-time travel editor for a fashion/lifestyle magazine (www.blackbookmag.com/travel) and also freelance write for various other magazines!

    thanks !

    Hi Jimmy,

Is this mist like a "spray on" moisturizer before applying serum and/or makeup, or is it something you can also spray to refresh, hydrate, and keep shine at bay throughout the day? I'm looking for more of a "throughout the day" mist that would these things. Also, can you please tell me what your job is? I mean, what do you do that allows you to travel so much? I love traveling, and would love to hear about your travels. =D

Jimmy, I bought the John Masters Oily Skin Face Wash after your review and I love it. I'm sure the Mist is as good too. Thanks so much for the recommend!
