Recommended as an all-natural lip tint with skin-nourishing properties

I must admit that when I was given the opportunity to try the Juice Beauty Conditioning Lip Color ($18), I almost passed it up. I’ve never before knowingly used an organic lipstick, tint or other lip product. Would it last? Would it be too thin? Would it smell funny? All of these questions raced through my mind until the day that I actually tried it.

A gentle swipe across the lips was all it took for the tint to show (the shade I tested was Fig, a sheer burgundy). The product is extremely lightweight, unscented and (thankfully) flattering. Although my lips are naturally full, this lip color made them appear a bit plumper – just enough to be noticeable.

I don’t wear makeup often, so I can’t speak on the life of this product; however, I can speak on the wear. The tint lasted throughout the day – I only had to touch it up slightly for a darker lip. Yet it didn’t put up a fight at the end of the day when it was time to wipe it off. The best part: It kept my lips feeling moisturized. This was a complete shocker since my lips tend to be on the dry side. While wearing it, I never had the urge to apply my usual lip balm, and my lips weren’t the least bit chapped.

I would definitely recommend Juice Beauty's Conditioning Lip Color!

Shante, I'm glad to hear your review of the othershade. I was tempted to purchase the pink shade after Hailley's earlier review. I use Juice Beauty's tinted moisturizer and love it. I'm trying to go more organic and natural. I never wear a great deal of makeup, and not every day. Instead of this product, I just recently purchased Michael Todd True Organics Lip Tint Trio SPF 18 (82% organic). I always have to have spf for the lips. It has turned out to be a wonderful product. You may want to give this one a try. My lips tend to be dry and the moisture and color lasted through the day with only another swipe after dining. It is just a tint so the color is not rich. You get three shades, Mauve Over, Very Berry, and Coppper Penny, each 2.55g for $16.00. My fave is the mauve.
