I began using Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream ($55) in March of this year. Here in Minnesota it’s very dry in the winter, so it was a perfect time to test it out.
I am 60 years old and I have crinkly “turkey neck”, lax skin under my chin and on my neck, which no amount of moisturizer has been able to help me with. I even bought a neck tightening cream on the Internet, but I just didn’t like the way it felt — it was so waxy-feeling and seemed to sit on my skin instead of being absorbed. Plus, the results were not that great either.
The Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Neck Cream seemed to make a difference in three days. I took a mirror and looked in the sunlight (the most unforgiving light, yet the most accurate), and sure enough, it seemed to soften the crinkles. This formula was pleasant to smell, yet not strong enough to compete with my body lotion fragrance. I've tried some "miracle creams" that smelled so much like chemicals (Nerium being one of them) that I couldn't stand to use them. It is also interesting that apple seems to be a component in the formulation in at least two ways, and of the ones I understood, it was refreshing to note they seemed very natural.
I used it morning and night, with hardly missing a time. It sinks into the skin instead of just sitting there. I felt that the peak of its success came at about week 3. That is when I had a photo taken with my sisters and I could tell that what I was using helped to make me (as the oldest of the sisters) suddenly NOT look like the oldest!
Since then, I have continued to use it, but results have stabilized. This is to be expected, you can’t turn back time without having more invasive procedures done, and I understand that. Still, when I consistently use it, I feel I look better, and when I asked my husband, he said the skin under my chin and neck looked less crepey. (Why, oh why is it that his skin is ten times worse than mine but on a man it’s never talked about?!) Just a little humor there.
The only caveat to my glowing review is that the product is a bit sticky. Not gummy like the other product I had been using but still a little tacky-feeling, not just when applied, but all day. It’s worth it if it makes me look and feel good, but I wonder how I will feel once the very humid summer weather is upon us here.
I will continue using this product (and have even talked my sisters into as well)!
