I am in my early 50s with normal skin that has some tiny stubborn whiteheads and a few large pores, dullness and some facial lines on the forehead and around the mouth (puppet lines).
The Kat Burki Beauty Elixir in Cucumber ($42) delivers what a face spray should: it comforts and refreshes. This, I expected. But it does more than that, and I was looking forward to seeing what this spray was all about. Kat Burki Beauty Elixir also leaves behind beneficial ingredients for the skin so that it can be nourished and protected and healed. Needless to say, it never made my skin feel taut or dried out. I can see even dry skin types benefiting from the ingredients.
The colloidal silver in the spray is valuable to combat any bacteria and to heal any tiny scratches or pimples. The vitamin C in the spray helps smooth and firm skin and fade brown spots. It inhibits the free radicals that trigger these skin problems we get as we age.
Before even grabbing a coffee in the morning, I spritz this spray on my face and neck. It wakes up my skin, and I look so much better, even before having done anything else to my face. It only takes a second, but it zaps away any morning pillow crease or look of dullness.
Of course, it is an excellent prep for the creams and makeup that follow. When it first goes on, the skin feels moist, which is normal, along with some stickiness, which is less pleasant, but it passes. When the spray dries, your face feels silky soft. That’s because all the good stuff in Kat Burki’s facial spray is not going to waste — it is not hype or a brief effect, and that is due to the science behind the product. The structured electrolyzed water (first ingredient) is delivering the benefits of the other ingredients deep into the skin, causing it to drink the whole potion of nutrients that reverse or prevent free radical damage. This is a product with sound science behind it and that is why I love it. I cannot afford it regularly but will buy it occasionally. I truly don’t see how another face spray can beat this one.
I use it at least three times a day. I can’t see how much is left of the product because the bottle is opaque, but it sounds like a quarter of it may be left, which makes me sad. I recommend Kat Burki Raw Beauty Elixir, and I am very lucky I got to try it.
