I am a product junkie, as I’m sure many of you are. I am tempted by packaging, dazzled by a good review, and fascinated by “breakthrough” ingredients. Over the years, I feel like I’ve tried it all. But through all the lotions, potions, toners, tonics, and serums, there are a few standout products that, even many years later, I still find myself going back to. These products stand the test of time, and I always have them on hand.

ARCONA Chamomile Balm ($28): Any time I have any irritation, inflammation, or even a little sunburn, this soothing balm is the perfect healer. I keep my bottle in the fridge because the cooling effect feels so wonderful on irritated skin. The first ingredient (after distilled water) Aloe Vera is one of the best natural skin soothers. Blue chamomile oil calms and heals, while antioxidants white tea, apple extract and vitamin E, help to repair damage. This fantastic balm is great to have tucked away in your fridge for when your skin needs a little extra gentle love and care.

Heritage Rose Water ($5.50): This is a pretty old school product, although it never really gets old. This special formula is simply water and natural rose oil. Its fresh real rose scent is truly romantic and beautiful. You can use it on your skin as a refreshing body splash, pour it into your hair rinse, your bath water, or spray it on your sheets. Rose water is a gentle astringent, so it also makes for a great toner for fair, sensitive and dry skin.

Burt's Bees Baby Bee Apricot Oil ($10): I have been using this body oil for years. It has the most lovely delicate scent. It’s made with lots of nourishing oils - apricot oil (the first ingredient) rich in vitamins A and E, antioxidant rich grapeseed oil, sunflower seed oil which is rich in the essential fatty acid linoleic acid, to name a few. My skin feels super soft whenever I use it. And it's gentle enough for the little ones.

Weleda Wild Rose Body Lotion ($15): I know I’ve mentioned this lotion before, because I love it so much and have for years. The fabulous scent is light and beautiful. This lotion is much thinner and looser than most moisturizers, but it still does a wonderful job keeping your skin silky and supple. The organic rosehip seed oil nourishes skin with antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Organic calendula soothes and calms. Your skin will absolutely feel luscious and delicious whenever you use this wonderful lotion.
